A new [report](https://www.congress.gov/crs_external_products/LSB/PDF/LSB11424/LSB11424.1.pdf) from the Congressional Research Service also notes that DOJ encouraged the Treasury Department to consider retrospective relief from 280E liability for tax years in which a business operated under a state medical marijuana license. The Treasury Department has said it plans to do so. MH
