Thank you for this info, and to OP for highlighting the research published today.
I have been following CRISPR companies off and on for a few years, and also a few of the newer players in HAE therapies (BCRX, KALV, etc). I don’t have any positions in either at the moment, but always looking to learn more and follow the progress.
Anyway, I understand the current SOC is not nearly as effective as NTLA, but what about BCRX Orladeyo? They also published today follow up clinical data that included the following:
"The median (range) adjusted HAE attack rate requiring on-demand treatment decreased from 0.691 attacks/month (0-5.03) during the 12-week standard of care (SOC) period to 0.169 attacks/month (0-1.75) during the 48-week ORLADEYO treatment period."
The 0.169 attacks/month metric in particular would seem to compare favorably to the 0.21 you cited for NTLA, if I am understanding all this correctly.
