AMC invested ~$28M into HYMC. That's really not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things. For perspective, AMC had a net loss in Q1 2025 of ~$200M. That's one quarter, this year.
HYMC *isn't actually mining* gold at all time highs and silver at +$50/oz.
HYMC's stock is simply following the metals market.

The investment in HYMC is incredibly small as a percentage of AMCs overall financials and is still currently underwater…. Why would that help AMC stock price?
Keep in mind that even when AA claimed that AMC broke even last week (down since then), that investment was equal to about 1.5% of total revenue from last quarter…
I ask again, why would AMC share price increase on an underwater investment that is a small drop in their financial bucket?

HYMC has been on 🔥 AMC ownership in the company you would think this would help AMC share price as well yet we still suppressed as usual? 🍿

# HYMC — Hycroft Mining Holding Corp. ($6.24, +0.48%)

**AVPT — AvePoint, Inc. ($14.36, -2.38%)**
* Solid recurring SaaS revenue, decent fundamentals.
* Dip buyers liked the tech discount this week.
* Cloud & Microsoft ecosystem exposure still attractive.
**SOC — Sable Offshore Corp. ($14.13, -23.08%)**
* Brutal drop = “buy the dip” crowd couldn’t resist.

* Possible short squeeze vibes incoming?
**SSNC — SS&C Technologies ($80.80, -1.07%)**
* Steady financial tech name, not sexy but reliable.

* Earnings around the corner — some betting on a beat.
**ROIV — Roivant Sciences ($16.99, +5.20%)**
* Biotech buzz!
* Analysts turning bullish on pipeline progress.
* Some Redditors calling this “the next big biotech sleeper.”
**CRWV — CoreWeave, Inc. ($139.24, -0.72%)**
* Massive AI hype run-up = people finally taking profits.
* Valuation starting to spook traders.
* Short-term fatigue after strong months of gains.
**IHT — InnSuites Hospitality Trust ($1.79, -1.10%)**
* Low volume microcap — traders cycling out.
* Hospitality sector not vibing post-summer.
* Maybe just some bagholders finally giving up. 😅
**KROS — Keros Therapeutics ($15.94, +2.31%)**
* Decent week, but profit-taking after a rally.
* Biotech rotation into larger caps.
* Small float = volatility magnet.
**CIFR — Cipher Mining ($21.03, +7.08%)**
* Crypto miners popping again, but some locking in gains.
* Bitcoin volatility = traders hedging out.
* Still bullish sentiment overall, just trimming.
**KSPI — Kaspi ($74.59, -0.63%)**
* Emerging markets getting hit lately.
* Kazakhstan fintech = niche exposure, people de-risking.
* Good company, bad macro.
And well to be honest I thought the idea would be a good one because I recently wrote this post [here on Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/StocksAndTrading/comments/1o9h8qo/wht_is_vlad_tenev_massively_selling/) which got a bit of traction so I thought you would be interested.
