Not bad- XYL seems cheaper. Why ERII?

**ERII**
One of the best pure-play stocks for global water scarcity, especially desalination and wastewater recovery. Unique, highly efficient pressure-exchanger technology. U.S. agricultural aquifers are being depleted, data centers are increasing water demand, and the Middle East is investing heavily in desalination. ERII was around $14 before the Iran war and is now around $8. High risk, but huge upside if the water thesis plays out. Great opportunity right now with a small cap stock that is everything you described: Energy Recovery Inc. (ticker ERII).
Huge moat: they have leading technology that reduces the energy cost of a desalination plant by nearly 70%. They have nearly 100% market share in all large scale desalination plants in the world.
Clean balance sheet. No debt. Cash flow generative.
Growing demand with the need for clean, drinkable water around the world.
Two problems with the company: short term pause in Middle East business (almost all water in Mideast comes from desal plants) due to the war. And second, too much executive turnover.
Stock is grossly undervalued. Growth will resume within a couple of quarters. New CEO will be hired. They know they need to focus on execution and blocking and tackling. Stock worth $20 in a base case scenario…much higher if they can grow their wastewater business as well.
