Battlefields in Ukraine and the Middle East have proven drone warfighting tactics a decisive and evolving force of the modern battlefield. Armored vehicles and military infrastructure worth millions can be brought down by modified consumer drones available to any modern consumer.
I created the following table as a cross-ticker comparison of some of the leading publicly traded stocks in drone technology, military and aviation. The cross-comparison view shows relative rankings between all tickers. Individually available are the historical financial filings of each company. This worksheet uses a combination of:
* API calls to pull up to 25 years of SEC filings (if available) and
* Colored data bars to give a quick visualization of trends across key metrics
Note that data bars show display the relative ranking of a metric across its highest and lowest range. A growing trend, in revenue for example, will have bars expanding towards the most recent quarters. A positive trend should appear like the head of a colorful comet. A metric with broken, irregular or negative numbers will appear brown and jagged. The goal was a quick visual way to visualize earnings trends and flag problems.
A full analysis would also require an investigation into the product, competitive advantage, leadership track record and capital structure. For now, these first pass metrics include EV, P/E, revenue, gross / operating margin, operating cash flow, net income, FCF, assets / liabilities, current ratio, long term debt and book price.

As of my read: Few of the companies have any substantial revenue, fewer are profitable on a net income basis and almost all have negative free cash flow.
