The S&P P/E ratio started 2021 at 30.8 and ended the year at 23.6. Earnings grew 65% during the year (record annual increase) which outpaced the 27% price increase.
Then it tumbled 25% in 2022 due to rising oil prices and rate increases by the Fed.
There are just too many variables, but if your feeling anxious try something like COWZ/COWG, but be prepared for irrational markets that trade hype, headlines, and "dumb" money.

Hey all! New to this sub but have a question. I'm thinking about leaving my current advisor and moving over to a fidelity/vanguard and doing it myself. Currently paying 1% fee and I am worried that my accounts have high expense ratios. Was wandering if I'd be better off moving over to low cost index funds like VOO etc and keep it simple. Would appreciate advice. Here is what I have,
Tax Brokerage Account with 60k it is in COWZ, CSEN, GLD, MRFOX,PEIYX, and SLVR.
I also have a roth account that has 55k with money in CINF, COPX, COWG,CSEN, GLD, JGRO,JTEX,KTCIX,PRWAX,QQQM,and SLVR.
