This is from [https://irastuff.com/BENE/prd/options/index.php?client=fidelity](https://irastuff.com/BENE/prd/options/index.php?client=fidelity) an RMD calculator that Fidelity links to. i.e. I was in my Fidelity account and when I searched for RMD rules, this is what it sent me.
I used dates to have the deceased not yet 73 when they passed, but 73 by year end. Annual RMD not required, there's the choice of the 10 year rule. FWIW, if this was a taxable account, best to take withdrawals from year one, and be mindful of filling your current bracket each year. A bit of attention and you'll save a bit on taxes.
