Just remember to keep a bit on the exchanges for sales when it pumps. My technique is to have a forever (aka yield only) bag, and then a bag to see when it pumps.
I like round numbers so I keep my exchange bag big enough that once it gets to what I bought in for, I cash that and move that money into another asset entirely.
For instance, If I have 500 XRP, I will buy a bag of 50 more and keep it on the exchange. If XRP goes to 10 bucks, I would have paid for the majority of my investment. I’d take that and buy gold or something else so basically I’m back to playing with house money.
I also only keep a smaller bag there because I want the exchanges to run low which picks up the price, it also won’t run all the next people coming in, making it more likely people will continue to buy in.
Dumping you bag for any reason hurts the community so I hope you guys plan a decent exit structure.
NFA.

SOLVED THE GME JPN CARRY TRADE

Okay I got it i think: Here me out. Why is Ukraine attacking russian soil and oil factories?
This is hard...so Brics nations member are working together coming up with new currency XRP coin, its because America at the start of the Ukraine war removed russia from the swift payment system this is like BTC meant to allow free trade.
They BRICS nations happen, to trade based on GOLD. not USD.
Okay, so we have BRICS coming together removing trade from America weakening their position in a very bad way. Now we have an attack on Venezuela where Russian China and Iran were getting oil,
Then they had to attack IRAN because the world mostly uses middle east oil. This way they can prolong the WAR as long as they can to force others to buy from who? Well with russias oil being attacked now, america is the oil to buy.
Chine and Russia and Iran are building a rail system that circumvents the power of the us navy
See it? They blew up russian oil pipelines to europe because of this threat, because their BS steal from the poor and give to the rich system is coming to an end. Infinite growth is impossible to sustain. We are just seeing the end of the old monetary system.
1. Remove all oil pipelines from russia to europe.
2. Remove the oil from venezuela
3. Remove the oil to the rest of the eurasian continents by stalling the straight
4. Force everyone to have to buy US oil thus putting strength back into the US dollars
5. This is also why the insanely strong out of nowhere push for crypto and Ai infrastructure.

This is all a ruse, they are using all this shit to prevent the collapse of America. This is only going to delay things.....now the fun part.....

GME Roaring kitty was pointing to THIS, the collapse of the American financial sector which would for banks to call in all debts causing the short position in GME and others to cash in. The Japan carry trade only stalled because america attacked the entire planet. Japan will unwind more if this fails so guess what, that war in Iran is NEVER going to end because if it does that means the world can go back to getting cheaper Iranian and Russian oil.

Just try and pick this apart.

Lmao, $200k? Says who? Do you have a crystal ball? I'm telling you, dude. BTC literally had a president openly promoting BTC. BTC had an enterprise like Strategy pouring billions into it. Weekly buying. BTC was one the most hyped crypto. Yet, BTC had small rois in comparison to a boring stock such as XOM and Nvidia. Plus alts such as XRP, SOL and TRON had bigger rois than BTC's. Also, TRON is only 28% from its ATHs whereas BTC is down about 51%, brutal!!!

Word has it Kraken has put buy limits on XRP, XLM, and HBAR. Pretty sus if you ask me. Robinhood DOGE vibes can’t have the peasants buying too much.

Yeah. You BTC maxis are all nitpicking hard too. "Alts are bad, just stick with BTC, bruh" XRP, SOL and many other alts blew BTC out of water if you bought mid term and sold heavily during euphoria.

The latest prospectus from T.Rowe lists these coins as eligible assets for their Price Active ETF just approved for launch by the SEC recently. (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, AVAX, LTC, DOT, DOGE, HBAR, BCH, LINK, XLM, SHIB, SUI)
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2089855/000199937126013250/tknz-424b3\\\_062326.htm
Curious over time, how many other coins will actually be able to compete for inclusion in these ETFs over these more established coins?
Are the barriers to entry just too hard to breach and new coins won’t have a chance?
Are crypto index ETFs even a good idea? Or should filers stick to single coin ETFs and let the market decide the winners?

Many cryptos did good last cycle tho. BnB, XRP, SOL outperformed BTC rois and bunch of other alts and memes too. But the question is did you take profits or kept holding and rode all the way down?

SOL, BNB, XRP had huge rois and they outperformed BTC. I'm not even mentioning a bunch of AI altcoins that had massive runs. But did you take profits or kept holding them believing in the "vision"? So yeah. There was an alt season. But just a very specific ones benefited.

$8.57 here 🙋🏻‍♂️
That’s enough for me to pay off a persnickety loan I took out stupidly + Capital gains tax. I’m chunking that thing down, though, and if I get rid of it and then XRP goes to $5, there goes my car bill.

**Not concerned about this being a problem. For a few reasons.**
Currently, only around 300,000 people have 10,000 or more XRP which is the *minimum* you need to get $1million if XRP ever reaches $100. So at most you're looking at 300,000 people technically becoming "millionaires" at that price. And that barely qualifies as millionaire because if you buy a pack of gum you're out of the club.
But read this sub. A ton of people will gladly sell their holdings at $2/XRP. Many more will sell at $3, $4, $5... if XRP reaches $10 the vast majority of holders will sell huge amounts from their bags.
I'd wager that 99% of holders will sell most of their bags long before XRP reaches $100... if it ever reaches that price you're looking at best a few hundred people still holding over 10,000 XRP.

This is something that I struggle with the investment in XRP. I'm a firm believer in both the product and the company that is making the product more and more viable, but if XRP hits some of these extreme targets that we all want it to hit ($50, $100, or higher), it would instantly create hundreds of thousands of retail millionaires overnight. Historically, traditional finance and the elite class do everything possible to prevent massive, uncontrolled wealth transfers to regular people. Do you genuinely believe the powers-that-be and the institutional financial system would allow that to happen?

Range CEO Andres Monteoliva confirmed his company's Tier 1 validator role on Stellar this week, with SDF [quoting him](https://twitter.com/StellarOrg/status/2080659966373826603) calling it a "natural next step" for a team that secures stablecoin and fiat infrastructure daily. A [July 23 broadcast](https://x.com/i/broadcasts/1XGyggDpaPLxM) brought MoneyGram, Figure, and Range together with SDF's Jose Da Ponte to discuss what institutional validator participation looks like on a network with no staking incentives. [Sentora](https://sentora.com) launched institutional DeFi vaults on Stellar through the Stellar DeFi Hub, and SDF published [DeFi security standards](https://stellar.org/blog/ecosystem/stellar-defi-security-standards-and-best-practices) covering audits, bug bounties, capital buffers, and emergency pause controls.
# Institutions as Consensus Participants
The ["Beyond Building" broadcast](https://x.com/i/broadcasts/1XGyggDpaPLxM) on July 23 was the first extended public conversation with Stellar's three newest institutional validators. [MoneyGram](https://moneygram.com) processes nearly $2 billion in weekly stablecoin FX volume across 200+ territories and operates on-off ramps, non-custodial wallets in Colombia and El Salvador, and its MGUSD stablecoin on Stellar. [Figure](https://figure.com) issues YLDS, a yield-bearing stablecoin, on Stellar alongside Ethereum and Solana. [Range](https://range.org) provides compliance and operational controls for companies managing digital assets before funds move.
Stellar's consensus model offers no staking rewards or token emissions. All three institutions joined as validators to influence governance and network security, not to capture yield. Monteoliva described the infrastructure Range builds daily as the same infrastructure the team now helps secure at the protocol level.
SDF's Denelle Dixon published a [July 21 post](https://stellar.org/blog/ecosystem/distribution-is-the-last-constraint) arguing that distribution is the binding constraint on onchain products. The framing: onchain experiences that embed into offchain use cases outperform those that require users to navigate a separate onchain context.
# DeFi Infrastructure and Security Standards
[Sentora](https://sentora.com) launched institutional DeFi vaults on Stellar through Ultra Stellar's Stellar DeFi Hub, using Soroban smart contracts. The vaults support XLM, USDC, and PYUSD. A [July 22 X Space](https://x.com/i/spaces/1qxoNNpPBzgJv) detailed how vaults address XLM holders seeking liquidity without forced token sales. SDF's DeFi team noted that Soroban now supplies lending markets, collateral engines, and yield strategies that Stellar's payment rails previously lacked.
SDF's [DeFi security standards](https://stellar.org/blog/ecosystem/stellar-defi-security-standards-and-best-practices), published July 20, define audit requirements before user funds go live, mandatory bug bounty programs, capital buffers, and emergency pause controls, adapting mature DeFi practices to Stellar's compliance frameworks.
# Protocol Development and Developer Tools
[CAP-85 moved to Accepted](https://github.com/stellar/stellar-protocol/commits/HEAD) in the Stellar protocol repository this week. CAP-84 and CAP-86 entered Final Comment Period simultaneously. Active discussions cover WASM VM memory metering improvements, externally managed contract executable types, and a `getEvents` v2 endpoint.
[Allium Labs](https://stellaranalytics.allium.so/rwa-stablecoin) launched a Stellar analytics dashboard tracking RWA tokenization and stablecoin volume in real time, with issuer-level RWA market cap breakdowns and filters that isolate genuine economic activity from infrastructure transfers.
At the [July 23 Stellar Developers Meeting](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RpAMlqRmkY), Hypertron debuted as a programmable B2B payment operating layer with privacy-first design and compliance controls. The meeting confirmed Stellar Quest is back online after third-party service sunsets, and that [skills.stellar.org](http://skills.stellar.org) now offers 24 AI skills, 17 contributed by the community.
# Builder Community and Regional Activity
The APAC Stellar Hackathon Philippines Demo Day ran at GCash headquarters in Manila on July 18, with 60 projects pitching across eight hours. The top 10 finalists advance to the APAC Grand Finale.

A [Turkish-language Stellar developer handbook](https://x.com/i/article/2080195293052628992) published this week covers Soroban, DApp development, oracles, privacy, ZK, and SCF funding routes. The Stellar Turkey chapter held a community meetup in Istanbul.
A [Drips Wave spotlight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uRZhK90agU) this week featured Fundable, which enables streaming payments and fiat off-ramps across 23 African countries, Brazil, and Europe, and Tansu, which brings on-chain governance and voting to open-source projects.
