This post does not accuse Binance, any market maker, public official or other person of illegal conduct. I have no non-public information and am relying solely on publicly available sources.
During the October 10 market disruption, USDe reportedly traded near $0.65 on Binance while remaining much closer to $1 on-chain and on other venues. Binance subsequently referred to “platform-related issues” and announced compensation for certain Futures, Margin and Loan users affected during a specified period.
Binance also announced a separate $400 million initiative intended to support eligible users and industry participants following the market volatility. Neither the compensation nor the initiative should automatically be interpreted as an admission of legal liability or wrongdoing.

* [21Shares analysis of the USDe price dislocation](https://www.21shares.com/en-us/insights/why-did-ethenas-stablecoin-remain-stable-onchain-but-depegged-on-binance)
These events raise legitimate technical and legal questions:
* How did Binance’s pricing methodology operate during the disruption?
* Did the venue-specific USDe price contribute to liquidations or automatic deleveraging?
* Were the safeguards and compensation offered sufficient?
* Should an independent expert, regulator or qualified attorney review the incident?
* Do users outside Binance’s announced compensation window have any legitimate collective legal options?
These are questions, not conclusions. Establishing causation, liability or intentional conduct would require reliable evidence and an appropriate legal process.
Users who believe they were directly affected may wish to:
1. Preserve complete trading histories, timestamps and account statements.
2. Retain relevant screenshots, liquidation notices and support correspondence.
3. Avoid publishing private keys or sensitive account information.
4. Avoid accusing specific people or organizations without verified evidence.
5. Consult qualified counsel before organizing or submitting personal information.
6. Use a lawyer-controlled intake process rather than sending documents to anonymous social-media accounts.
Would moderators consider an evidence-focused megathread containing verified sources and factual corrections? Is any reputable law firm, regulator or consumer organization already reviewing this matter?
I am not affiliated with a law firm, I am not soliciting clients, and nobody should send me confidential or identifying information. If any factual statement above is inaccurate, please provide a reliable source so it can be corrected.
The purpose of this post is transparency, evidence preservation and informed discussion, not an allegation of proven wrongdoing.
