If you understand that your SOL are NOT yours while they are on Binance, it's ok. If you really understand Solana blockchain technology and you want to make it better and safer, it's better to stake them for yourself on your own wallet. I prefer for this a native wallet as Solflare, or better some multisig as Squads or Snowflake

Hahaha wtf are you talking about? And why so butthurt?
In case you can't tell, BCH is not my recommendation. I agree that it is probably not scalable enough for worldwide use, hence why it's lower on the list.
And yes not many use it (but it's still bigger than LTC lol). All of these networks would need time to mature before seeing mainstream acceptance. They're still going through their speculative, volatile SoV phase.
LTC is near the bottom of my list in case you didn't notice 😂.
I still respect these PoW chains for having fairer distribution than the vast majority of corpo L1s like SOL, hbar, algo, etc.
If you're butthurt because BTC is not on my list, that's because I thought it went without saying that it's number 1 for now. Mostly due to its first mover advantage and network effects. But as we've seen with all these hacked L2s, BTC is extremely difficult to scale properly.
Hence my list of potential alternatives, if we actually care about living up to Satoshi's vision of P2P eCash (did u read the whitepaper?)

Lower timeframe FVGs get filled way more often, its just noise density. A 1m FVG can get tagged and invalidated a dozen times in the span it takes a 15m FVG to even fully form, so youre comparing signal quality thats not actually equivalent just because both are called an FVG.
Higher timeframe FVGs respect better because theyre backed by more actual volume and more participants agreeing on that imbalance, a 1m gap can just be one algo doing something for 40 seconds.
Your logic of using 15m for trend alignment then dropping to 1m for entry precision isnt wrong, but id be careful trusting the 1m FVG itself as the reason for entry, use it more as a trigger zone once the 15m context already confirms, not as a standalone signal with its own validity.
Most consistent results ive seen people get with FVGs specifically is 1h and 4h for the actual gap, then dropping to LTF only for entry timing, not for a second layer of gap validity. SOL especially moves fast enough that your 1m gaps will get chewed up by noise more than ETH or BTC would.

So, I am a new trader in the process of building and refining a trading strategy to stick with, with just a few pretty strict rules. I trade crypto, SOL mainly and starting to experiment with ETH to have a second place to look for setups. But, mainly been testing/building my strategy for SOL.
A piece of my puzzle is finding trend aligning FVGs on the 15m, then looking within that for 1m FVGs at key levels to determine my precise entry.
My question is for experienced traders who have paid attention to FVGs on different time frames. What pattern have you seen regarding how often price respects a valid FVG on different time frames? Is a 1m FVG less likely to be respected than a 3m? And so on…
Thanks! Looking forward to sharing my entire strategy on here one day if I create something awesome! ❤️

We just made two HUGE changes to Pumpfun
We’re INTRODUCING Holder Rewards and REMOVING Cashback mode
Now, Holder Reward tokens pay out rewards just by holding: for longer hold times, higher ceilings & communities that thrive
https://reddit.com/link/1welnco/video/o2env3hm35ph1/player
**Cashback Mode is no longer available as a launch option.**

Now, coin creators can choose between a standard Creator Fee token or a Holder Rewards token when launching.

Existing Cashback & Creator Fee tokens can be switched to a Holder Rewards token. Once a token becomes a Holder Rewards token, it cannot be changed.

**How to switch an existing token to a Holder Rewards token**

Token teams and communities may apply to switch to a Holder Rewards token. Acceptance/rejection is based on clear, objective information which best benefits the token and its community.

For Custom Pairs which switch to Holder Reward tokens, the applicant must specify the new flat fee between 0.01% - 3%. Tokens paired with SOL/USDC use the standard market cap tiered-fee structure, so they do not need to specify a flat fee.
Apply to change Cashback & Creator Fee tokens to Holder Rewards tokens through the fee redirection application form: [https://forms.gle/CbnEm8gvZubpJkQh9](https://t.co/ySUAGzLeJf)
**How Holder Rewards are distributed**

For Holder Reward tokens, fees are directed towards a Pumpfun distribution wallet.

Holder Rewards are automatically distributed pro-rata several times every hour - meaning the more tokens you hold, the more you earn. Anyone holding over $20 worth of the token is eligible to earn Holder Rewards.

**Fees**

**Protocol fees are the same on all tokens, regardless of token type.**

Fees for Holder Reward tokens remain the same on SOL/USDC pairs - tiered fees which decrease as market cap increases.

For Custom Pairs, the creator can set a flat fee between 0.01% - 3%. Once set, the fee is final and cannot be changed.

Holder Rewards are paid out in the quote token e.g. for a token paired with SOL, rewards are paid in SOL. for a token paired with [$PUMP](https://x.com/search?q=%24PUMP&src=cashtag_click), rewards are distributed in [$PUMP](https://x.com/search?q=%24PUMP&src=cashtag_click).

Didn't understand one point he made. How did this relate to Cardano. He never made the connection. Most people don't realize that Cardano is not like Ethereum or SOL. It's domaine will include finance eventually, but currently it is about Big data ...read: inventory control, logistics and personnel. How this video fed into that? Unknown. I think he wanted to make a marketing video, but the subject is too overdone. So he labeled this video " Learn Cardono"...
Useless.

This is the dumbest advertising Jupiter team and it shows your ethics. No wonder you guys voted against increasing SOL value capture. You actually believed a stronger SOL would be less beneficial than reduced fees. 🤦

Hey OP, sorry to burst your bubble, but one thing I've learned in crypto is never count your eggs before the hatch, there are multiple crypto that are eating ETH lunch, like SOL which is faster, cheaper and made more than 60% of all crypto transactions, don't get me wrong, I owned both but I don't see ETH been more successful than SOL, but only time will tell

Imo, you can narrow down the staking providers by filtering them using these points:
\-> See the net yield and not the headline APY (Subtract all fees and then calculate the yield)

\-> Trusted validators >>>> new validators with fancy short-term incentives. Look at things like uptime, vote performance, and commission.
\-> How much time it takes to unstake and get back your funds.
\-> Who holds the keys? Always prefer self-custody so you avoid any counterparty risks.
\-> And lastly, check if they offer the type of staking you prefer. For example, do they have liquid staking if you want that or only offer native staking.
I do not stake actively. But whenever I have funds, I use Jupiter to stake SOL as it offers both native and liquid staking. Also, last time I checked, it was in the top 5 validators by the SOL amount staked.

For native staking, they take a 5% commission on inflation rewards and 0% on MEV rewards. If you go the liquid staking route, you pay some more commission fee as it is standard across all LSTs deployed via their LST partner.
Disclosure: I'm friends with a few folks in the Jupiter team. Feel free to do your research by checking their docs page if you want to dive deeper.

BTC, ETH, ZEC, SOL, and USDC are the main cryptocurrencies I’m holding. I was using a Ledger hardware wallet, but after seeing all the recent reports about Ledger and other cold wallets being compromised, I’m starting to question whether that’s still the safest option. I also have a SafePal, but I’m not completely confident in it either. I’ve used Exodus in the past and have seen reports of Exodus wallets being hacked, and I’ve also seen people reporting Phantom wallets getting drained. I know exchanges can also get hacked, so I’m trying to find the safest setup possible. Would using a dedicated phone that is only used for crypto be safer? If so, which wallet apps would you trust for BTC, ETH, ZEC, SOL, and USDC& tons more? I’m looking for something that can securely hold multiple types of crypto, with security being the #1 priority. What setup would you personally recommend for long-term storage?

Since 2022 non-stop you have [ClaimYourSol](https://claimyoursol.com) providing these kind of services. They are reliable and safe, no NFT collection attached, just a service.
You can burn useless tokens and NFTs and get residual SOL back.
You can close already EMPTY (because you sold or moved all quantity of a token/nft) and get residual SOL back.
You can reclaim some residual SOL as excessive rent from existing tokens and NFTs (Solana is reducing the amount you have deposit to create accounts, thus you can recover the difference with no impact except more sol to you).
You can collect pump.fun rewards and respective PDAs (associated accounts) for SOL.
There are guides and a blog in the site, also with video walkthrough if required.

i have tried pretty much all types of staking in the past 2 years and now i just use liquid staking. I completely stopped native staking because sometimes there is a cool off period based on the epoch and i might have to wait to unstake.
Liquid Staking is convenient + i can use the Liquid Staking token (LST) in DeFi and also just swap the LST for SOL/ USDC any time making it easy and convenient.
i converted all my long term SOL to JupSOL because i can then use the same LST to either lend/ multiply giving me effectively more rewards/ APY.
