The tokenized asset market is a booming banquet, but almost everyone is eating the same dish.

Have been studying the RWA xyz dataset. There are 1,000+ listed assets, but 900+ sit in the long tail, together representing about 1% of AUM. The market shows roughly $330B in “distributed” AUM. Stablecoins are about 90% of it.

The interesting heat is in the side dishes. Private equity exposure, like pre-IPO Revolut, is up 142% over 90 days. Tokenized stocks are up 100%. But both remain small, around 0.5% of AUM.

Asset-backed credit fell 30%, as Syrup caught a shadow of contagion from rsETH, despite having no actual exposure.

Most tokenized assets are still paperweights with yield. But a few are starting to uniquely dance onchain.

The market says it wants to tokenize the world.

The money says it has mostly tokenized cash.

But the long tail is beginning to show how supply, distribution, and onchain usefulness expand from here.

I've got stocks and etfs for that, crypto is my fun money for big price swings, then if I think prices are too high I put it in PAXG and laugh as crypto prices drop and gold stays the same.

I just put it in PAXG, surely if dollar keeps inflating, gold will go up
