> Crypto will pump with the Clarity Act, Genius Act, the fight between banks and crypto exchanges for yield on stablecoins
Who cares? None of this matters to crypto prices.
Reminder of the ETF hopium that would pump various cryptos. Desperate bagholders are being strung along again. It's always bait and switch from the old narrative to the new as the old narrative fizzles out.

Yeah, my only regret is I couldn't figure out mining until around there. I spent years trying and trying and never mined a single satoshi. Then finally I realized my time is money and I have plenty of money. I just started buying it. I remember back then Coinbase had this bundle. It was 50% BTC, then a smaller portion of Eth, then a smaller portion of LTC and finally a bit of BCH. I would just buy $100 of that every week and I would end up with a nice little portfolio.
Once I had a decent amount of coins I finally figured out mining and was able to add to my stack without spending any more money.
Now I just buy ETF's. ibit is my current favorite.

That's a shitty reason. There's far more too it. Xmr is worth 6x more and is significantly smaller. It was also impacted by the BTC crash. What makes LTC the one that's only $55?

As does every single cryptocurrency from around that era. Ethereum does the same level of fantastic job as does LTC. Nothing unique to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not scarce either. BTC, LTC, XMR, BCH are all types of Bitcoin that the market uses for different use cases, especially when fees on BTC rise.

The only reason I mention LTC is this scenario:
You have a stroke at 85, end up paying $15k/month for LTC, and your 75 year old wife is still at home, and it costs her $8k/month. How long can you afford this $276k/year cost? What happens to your wife if you run out of money and are forced to go on Medicaid? Are you locking up your future funds, so you can't make a financial move in case something like this happens?
I don't now the answer, and I know this is unlikely, I just always think about the worst case scenarios. I saw LTC run my mother out of money pretty quickly, but she is 89 and doesn't have a spouse, so she is fine.

We saw 2 million LTC dump on the open market due to a supposed phishing attempt and the market absorbed it. Why is it inconceivable that they bought LTC? I'm pretty sure they are subject to the same types of audits any other company is (probably even moreso given its crypto and not assets on balance sheet like Microsoft would hold for example). I think it's very likely they bought and it just didn't move the needle.

My thought is that the annual TIPS payments would cover all or most of the RMDs. LTC is such an unkown. The plan is to cover that with TIPS (since the would run until my age 105 and my wife's age 85!) and equity in our house. Not sure what else to do. LTC insurance is ourtrageously expensive and seems to be widely criticized.

Sounds good to me. At your age, any concern over RMD's? What happens if you have to go into LTC? Can you afford that cost?

MEI Pharma was just a pump and dump for the insiders and Charlie Lee... it is doubtful they even purchased any LTC, let alone a million of them.

It's about price, not volume. They have to stay above $1. If they haven't started the share repurchase program yet, I'm fairly certain they'll use that to keep it above $1 and thus lowering the cost/share of their LTC
