Heyo, thanks for pinging me, mate :)
I'll address both the support emails and KSM staking issues. I'll try to be as frank and straight to the point as possible.
Regarding support – we previously had a dedicated support staff who would answer support emails pretty much immediately. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case, and we no longer have people who are dedicated solely to support tasks. I personally try to answer the support emails (when I get the chance) and did send quite a few responses about this Kusama issue.

Regarding the Kusama issue – this was caused by RPCs that we were using being decommissioned. Nova Wallet was using the IBP RPCs, as we found that, at the time, they had the best global coverage. We were not made aware that these RPCs were going to be taken offline. After we received reports of issues with KSM staking, we investigated the issue and added additional RPCs to our lists. I would recommend that everyone join the novawallet TG and announcements channel for updates, such as the one in the SS below.

Thanks for letting me know about the little snowflake thing :) I'll try to get it changed.

Hi, i have been using Nova for my DOT and KSM. A couple of weeks ago, my Kusama staking page wouldn’t load, I messaged support 21 June and got the auto “we’ll get back to you shortly **within 2-3 business days”** reply. Later on **Reddit** I found how to resolve this issue by myself on 25 June. The strange thing is that Nova support never replied to me.
Two weeks of silence. And their auto reply still had the New Year snowflake theme on it in July, so it feels like nobody’s home over there.
So now I just want to make sure I understand the important part correctly:
If Nova ever hypothetically shuts down or disappears, I still have those 12 words they gave me when I created the wallet, right? And with just those 12 words I can restore the exact same wallet (funds + staking) in another Polkadot wallet like Talisman?
Basically I want to confirm my access doesn’t depend on the app existing, only on my seed phrase. Am I understanding this right? And is there anything I’m missing about the recovery process?
\+ maybe you have some thoughts on my concern about Nova?
Thanks.
