The part about the market changing every few months is real, and I don't think it means you learned the wrong way. Most setups people teach are tuned to the regime the teacher was trading in. Low-vol trend, high-vol chop, whatever it was that year. They work until the regime moves, and nobody tells you that the setup had a regime baked into it.
What helped me was splitting every setup I tested into two windows: the last month, which I'd obviously been tuning on, and the month before it, which I hadn't looked at. About half of what I thought worked fell apart on the earlier window. The ones that survived both weren't the exciting ones, they were the boring ones with wide stops and fewer trades. That changed how I looked at "this stopped working": often it never worked, it just fit one month.
On the twenties: you didn't waste them. You learned to sit with uncertainty, manage risk, and read a chart under pressure, and most people never do any of that. Picking up a trade and keeping one small account on the side, trading one boring setup, is not quitting. It's what a lot of the people who last actually do. KEEP UP THE WORK , FRIEND.

I already invalidated your argument because stocks trade after hours and in the premarket. Again, you can't seem to comprehend that if a stock closes at $100 and something bad happen to them after hours, the stock will most likely open lower after hours and in the premarket. Therefore, the opening price will be lower. Again, look up the closes and opens on Yahoo Finance and it literally gives the "adjusted share price" which is for dividends and stock splits. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.

Fyi once you start investing on the regular - increase your contributions in pace with inflation percentage
Year 1 : $100 a month x 12
Year 2 : $103/4\~ a month x 12
A common pitfall that new investors and me were guilty of is not increasing contributions in pace of inflation. Too many calculators and finance videos only show straight investments.

If you can get it 70-graded, very few MS70 examples exist, and one sold on feeBay earlier this month for $11K.
I don’t think this one will grade 70. It’s in rather good shape. But YOU KEEP PUTTING THE SURFACE ON YOUR HAND.
