I just want it to pick up the pet crap without being asked. clean the house without breaking things. Maintain the yard without being asked. Meal prep and leave the cooking to me or cook if i dont want to cook that night. Clean up after meals, etc. All to a higher hygiene standard then i can manage as a human.
Sadly, they will NEVER sell us that. They will lease us a robot...and every function will be a monthly subscription. You want it to pick up dog shit, $10 a month. Meal prep $50 a month. cook $50 a month. Wash dishes $10 a month. Clean $100 a month. ETC....
Out of all the possible futures we got idiocracy coupled with subscription everything. Like WTF....why....

I consider myself 15% collector and 85% stacker. I try to buy at or below spot. I have been focusing on Government rounds and rounds from well known mints. So I feel like you can both stack and collect. I buy Spot deals from online bullion dealers. I go to my local gold and silver shop to find things like Pandas, Kookaburras, and Canadian minted coins for spot plus $2-$3. You can also try to focus on getting different years of things like ASEs, Maples ETC. I would say that stacking Prospectors will get pricey as they most often carry a premium. So things like that I only grab if I get lucky and find it at a good deal. It is a lot of fund. Good luck on your stacking journey

ETC/ECE is honestly one of the better non-target backgrounds if you lean into it. HFT shops hire FPGA and low latency engineers, and that's basically your degree (verilog, timing, networking). Way less crowded than QR, where you're up against math and physics PhDs from targets. Biggest roadblock is getting past resume screen with no internships, so a lot of people either do a masters at a target first or start at a smaller shop or a bank tech team and lateral after a couple years.
