I did an exhaustive structural assessment of Ethereum Classic (ETC) today using our upgraded terminal metrics over at Crypto Weeklies. How? Almost everyone mocks ETC, because ETH has the INVESTORS on their side with Vitalik, although he said that ETC is a fine chain. I wondered that he was allowed to say this.

To sum i up, we got in Germany on of the best instruments to invest in physically, phys. ETC and hybrids like EUWAX II
For coins and bars go for bullion and larger standard sizes.
Gold.de allows comparing prices. I buy in my local Scheideanstalt [https://aurum-goldshop.de/](https://aurum-goldshop.de/) , but ProAurum or others are also good. Upto 1.999 € your personal data are not collected for the German tax office, good for bullion accummulation

They've been safer to me than the Exodus wallet. I am so glad I moved most of what I had off that and onto an exchange. It sucks about the ETC though. It was not much but I still consumed resources and expenses to acquire it.

Hi, I’m 23 years old and I earn about₹ 2.2lakh monthly. I have been investing 1 lakh in Mutual Funds and Gold ETF since last 1 and a half year, but I see almost 0 growth.
Can someone more experienced please evaluate how I can improve my portfolio?
My mental model -
1. I want to play safe, and that is why I have diversified in all the promising categories.
2. I’m investing for long term, atleast 5 years or more. More like I have no plan of withdrawing, unless it an emergency or a grand event like purchasing my home, etc.
3. I’m also seeking advice if I should increase the amount I have invested? Issue is my monthly expenses cross 1 lakh easily. My fixed expenses are within budget like 50k , but then I indulge in one or the other “one time expense” every month and end up blowing 50-60k almost every month. I feel like I can do better than this, but then I also want to enjoy my life. I should be able to earn more, rather than trying to spend less (if that makes sense). That acts like a motivation for me to work harder. But then, every once in a while I feel guilty and want to control my spending habbits. Any advice on how to improve on this?
My current portfolio is of ₹20 lakhs out of which 3 lakhs is in Gold ETF, 17 lakhs is in Mutual Funds. I also own a car worth 10 lakhs, which I financed on my own.
Older and Wiser folks of the sub, please guide me on :
A. If my investment strategy is good, or how can I improve?
B. Am I indulging in a bad habit of spending mindlessly, or is it okay for a young guy to live this way? Also, suggestions to improve.
My current SIP plan -
1. Edelweiss US Technology - 10k
2. Nippon Multi Cap Fund - 10k
3. ICICI Prudential Pharma - 10k
4. Nippon Large Cap - 10k
5. Parag Parikh Flexi - 10k
6. Quant Small Cap - 10k
7. White Oak Mid Cap - 10k
8. Nippon Power & Infra - 10k
(Some of these funds , SIP is divided in 2 halves of 5k for better averaging. I’m also thinking of breaking them into weekly for even better averaging)
9. Gold ETC - 1k daily = 20k / month.

The small amount of ETC I held was drained from my Exodus wallet in January 2025. The standard response is always that your computer was hacked, you had a keylogger, or you somehow exposed your seed phrase. But similar incidents have happened to many people while their other accounts remained untouched.
Personally, I no longer trust software wallets. I would rather hold crypto on a major exchange such as Coinbase or Binance. Exchanges are not risk-free either, but I would still choose one over a software wallet.
A seed phrase is only secure if the wallet software and provider are also secure and trustworthy. If either is compromised or dishonest, the seed phrase offers little protection. I have used a Ledger hardware wallet without any security issues so far, although it can be inconvenient to use.
