I personally use Cash app to buy BTC every Wednesday night when my direct deposit hits. Zero fees. Once I get about $100 worth of BTC I will then move it with the “free option” that takes longer, but it’s free. I think it’s a great way to stack overtime like you would do in a 401(k). You have the option to do whatever percent of your paycheck you would like and can adjust it literally whenever you want. If you’re buying from the platform without direct deposit, I would definitely not use Cash app. Hope this helps. Make sure to look at all your options and way out the pros and cons👍

Have you ever done fourier analysis on any BTC metric? If you do, have you found something interesting? Do you think is not worth it? Why?

Ill bring back an old school one for yall OGs. CORE/CVault Finance/Delta. While they have definitely pissed off all the people who gave them a $100M treasury(value during last bull run, now around $60M), HYPE took most of their ideas and built their platform, along with 100s of forks from others. The difference though is the locked liquidity and mechanisms to create value for the users, devs and platform. Delta flopped bc of the very reason you mentioned. They broke Uniswaps trade algo and Hayden Adams booted them from the platform, showing they are centralized at their core also.
The rub here is they haven't been heard from in years. Theyll trade the treasury every once in a while but nothing on TG. I was an OG investor in CORE LP1 and went heavily into Delta. There is a lot to be mad about from that perspective but the treasury is still there. If they were scammers, that money would have already been gone. I've chalked my money as a loss, but I do hope they stay true to the statement that they'll launch during the next bull run. And while BTC was strong this last one, ETH never sustained ATH.
They are ETH maxis so I would guess in a couple of years, theyll come back and launch the project. Until then, it's a bunch of bullshit of nothing but id keep it on your radar once ETH season pops off.

You're wrong, you can use DEX aggregator like https://switcher.finance/, it has better rates than CEX and no counterparty risk (I lost 6 figures on MEXC when i deposited BTC to just convert to USDT..)

If you're new to crypto do not buy meme coins. You will lose your money. Stick with BTC and ETH and do nothing else.

If anything, the BTC hate by Peter Schiff is great conversation. It actually helps reinforce BTC.
There will be different camps/cults that choose gold over BTC, but healthy debate and banter is an overall positive contribution to the space.
The main point is:
Hard Money Assets vs. central bank fiat currencies.

Crypto was created for these niche cases. And yes, stablecoins work too... But stablecoins are a consequence of BTC. You can't separe one from the other.

All BTC. Stocks are heavily manipulated and disconnected from fundamentals.
If you want to gamble your retirement for 4% annual increase with possibly being wiped out at the wrong time, then stocks make sense.

Hey, if you power these BTC miners to keep our financial crime going we’ll give you a share of our made up currency that has a higher historical return than even gold ✅

Yeah. You BTC maxis are all nitpicking hard too. "Alts are bad, just stick with BTC, bruh" XRP, SOL and many other alts blew BTC out of water if you bought mid term and sold heavily during euphoria.

2019 is amazing.
I was IT literate and around in 2009 when people were mining with CPU's 50 BTC blocks, and was very much "this looks interesting, I'll start mining tomorrow" and never did - I'd just had my first child and he seemed much more interesting :)
Eventually started buying in 2017 but made the classic mistake of selling most of it unnecessarily and of course, regreting it.

However a lot of people have these stories, and only clever people (or being already rich enough to not care) really had the foresight to buy and hold for long periods from the early days - I'm sure there would have been a price I'd have sold regardless and very much doubt I'd be much richer than I am now.

I consider this as my 2nd cycle properly hodling now I understand a tiny more, and In my uneducated opinion Ark3tech is 100% correct.
JGMURPY, hold over the years and it should feel better each cycle.

The longer your time horizon the more it will look like a relic of the past. There’s already a linear trend where the importance of “self custody” is diminished with each passing year, I expect this trend to upgrade to exponential in the coming decade where 10 years from now a very small minority will care about it.
Personally I am a tradfi investor who doesn’t care about the self custody angle at all (although I’m glad it exists as BTC would not have caught on without it). I expect there to be more me’s in the future than there are libertarian types who invest in BTC as they are fearful of the government

The BTC trade you did was actually well-executed — you bought a macro asset during a clear accumulation phase and exited with real profits. The second move had a different risk profile and you probably knew it at the time.
A few patterns worth internalizing for next time:
**The "binge-watched crypto YouTube" signal is a red flag, not a green one.** When content about an asset is everywhere and all of it is bullish, the easy money has usually already been made. The people making the videos are often paid to make them. This isn't unique to crypto.
**The 10x and wait problem.** You had a 10x on Raydium and didn't take any. A useful rule: when an altcoin hits a target that already feels unbelievable, sell half and let the rest run. That half covers your original investment several times over, and whatever happens next isn't a loss — it's a free trade.
**BTC vs. altcoins is a fundamentally different bet.** BTC had ETF inflows, clear institutional demand, and the halving catalyst. Altcoins are essentially calls on those narratives continuing and expanding. When they don't, the drawdowns are brutal because there's no floor buyer.
**Practically speaking:** The Raydium position — where is it now? If it's down 70–80% from peak but still has some value, the question isn't "do I sell" but "do I have high conviction it recovers, and am I holding for good reasons or just to avoid realizing the loss?" Those are different situations.
You made money once with a clear head. That skill doesn't disappear.

In this example, no, you’re fine. Dave owes $$$ to IRS.
The actual problem can arise if you perhaps buy some BTC from Iran or N Korea, or if the user you buy from gained the coins illegally through theft, hacking, etc. The UTXO can be flagged and CEXs like Coinbase could freeze it.
At the very least, send a small amount to CEXs first and see if they hem and haw. You may not get it back, so tread carefully.

Congratulations! 🎉 Hitting your first 0.1 BTC is a much bigger milestone than most people realize. Many people chase quick gains, but consistently buying through the highs and the lows is how long-term wealth is often built.
My only advice would be: don’t focus too much on the next price target focus on the next accumulation target. Whether it’s 0.2 BTC, 0.21 BTC (for the 21 million supply 😉), or eventually 0.5 BTC, just keep stacking at a pace you’re comfortable with.
Ten years from now, you’ll probably remember reaching 0.1 BTC as the moment your Bitcoin journey really began. Welcome to the club! 🍊₿
