It’s worth paying CGT just to put 20k into ISA that can be tax free for multiple cycles. I’m in 50/50 diversity in between the two. Also it’s not possible to buy BTC ETN after April 6th.

Took me 2 full “cycles “ to realize BTC was not the one to be stacking roi wayyy to low … retail has been priced out of making any real generational wealth since $1

I think a lot of people imagine they’ll never sell, but once you actually hit a life changing number your mindset probably shifts a bit. At some point the goal of money is to make life easier, not just sit on a chart.
Loans against BTC sound nice in theory but they add another layer of risk. If the market drops hard you can get forced into a bad spot fast.
Personally I think a balanced approach makes more sense. Maybe keep a core amount long term, but slowly sell portions when it genuinely improves your life. Hitting your number and never using it feels a bit like missing the point.

If your capital is mainly tied in stock brokers, perhaps a simple ETF like IBIT, ETHA would be an easy way to get exposure to BTC and ETH.
Crypto stocks like COIN, HOOD works well for exposure too. They are solid companies in the crypto space.

Yep I know exactly what video you’re talking about, can’t seem to find it though.
It was related to the recent Simpsons predictions: war in Iran, Epstein files coming out or Epstein being Satoshi Nakamoto I think. The final prediction was for the current prices of BTC, ETH, and SOL. ADR was the final listing for some unbeknownst reason (could be code for all the elites to make some quick squillions?) with it being predicted to hit $1 on March 10th, don’t know why though.
Like others said, 100% a PnD. Be ready to sell because once it sails, you’re gonna get serious carpet burn from the rug pull.

I use FreeTrade as my broker, and my understanding is that all positions would automatically be moved from an ISA to a GIA. Meaning it loses its tax-free benefits, which ultimately means paying CGT on any profits above £3000.
I am considering selling my self custardy BTC, to then buy it back as an ETN for security reasons (I'm awear I'd need to pay CGT). Or maybe doing half and half. I'm becoming more and more uneasy with the amount of money I'd lose if I were to lose my seed phrase

If you reach your number in bear market, maybe better to take loan against the BTC instead of selling and getting destroyed by taxes 💀 just need stable income stream to pay the loan back, but that's tricky part when you trying to retire 😂

today - forgive me - less data oriented and more gut feeling post.
this bounce from 60k looks like simple short liquidity grab. especially because of no/weak spot participation and perp driven dynamics so far. true reversals are made with dominant spot pressure -we have seen none here.
currently much more money for dealers to make is above current prices around 75-76k and even higher to ~80k.
MMs don't make money with price going one direction, rather by bouncing between liquidity magnets and feeding off both sides. so, before any major 58-62k sweep -which I think is very probable, given BTC history (double bottom sweep with slight lower low) - there is a squeeze move coming into high 70ks /low 80ks - a fake breakout type action -and only then we could see true bottom and reversal.
this would summarize my current view of the market. to be continued with raw data update just before today's USA session

Is there any reason not to put my whole ISA into IB1T and just sell the equivalent in BTC so that I still have some diversification?
The risk (other than volatility) must be pretty minimal with someone like BlacRock. The only big one would be if they go bankrupt or Coinbase gets hacked, in which case we're all screwed anyway.

1st of all, 90% portfolio should be in good dividend stocks. Then you can gamble 10%... Sorry risk manage rest of it however you like. Cycles? Fuck it. If BTC price <30% from ATH, buy 30% of the gambling budget. If price <50% from ATH, all in. GL at the table.

Wie kam es dazu? Hast du letztes Jahr BTC verkauft, es bei der Steuererklärung angegeben und das Amt hat nachgefragt?

Bitcoin climbed to around **$74,000**, its highest level in about a month, before facing resistance and pulling back to around **$72,000**. The recovery comes after BTC dropped to **$63,000** last weekend during geopolitical tensions but quickly rebounded. Ethereum also moved higher, rising above **$2,100**, while major altcoins like **Solana, Dogecoin, and XRP** posted moderate gains.
The biggest mover earlier is **Pi Network’s PI token**, which jumped about **13%**, making it the top gainer among major altcoins. Overall, the crypto market added roughly **$60 billion** in value, pushing the total market cap above **$2.5 trillion** as most crypto trade in the green.

eah, that trend makes sense — prolonged net selling on CEXs shows retail is stepping back, institutions are concentrating on BTC/ETH, and capital is rotating into selective narratives. Broad alt demand seems muted right now.
For people looking to stay in crypto without chasing every rotation, I’ve been checking Coindepo — around 24% annual interest plus up to $15 bonus per $100 in new assets. It’s a way to earn passively while markets consolidate.

Bitcoin has reclaimed the $73,000 mark, pushing back into a key price zone after a steady upward move. BTC climbed from around $71.7K to above $73K in a short span, reflecting strong buying pressure and renewed market confidence. The chart structure shows consistent higher highs and higher lows, reinforcing bullish momentum. With price now holding above $73K, traders are closely monitoring whether this strength sparks another run toward new highs or if near-term resistance slows the rally at current levels.
