Thanks, if only one person gains some insight from this I've succeeded greatly.
Once you are done with CLOs, you should check out the shitshow that is called AI.
If you believe that AI is going to skyrocket and make you a millionaire, or create generational wealth, you need to sit the fuck down and understand what is going on with the global politics.

We are in the middle of the 2nd Cold War, and no one is talking about it... it's no longer US and Russia... it is China and the Western World... and so far China is WINNING.

Foundationally, the math behind AI is flawed. Laws of Thermal Dynamics, Landauer Limit, Heisenberg Correction, Adam Optimizer, and so many other limitations would cause a single AGI instance to consume 3x Global energy supply. This includes Quantum Computing, which is surprising but the math checks out.

So why are we investing so much when we can't reach what everyone is saying is the goal? Because we've been fooled into doing so by China. The fear of not winning is so strong that we are losing the sight of the foundational facts... and by doing so we are falling into the same trap that Russia did during the cold war.

Mark my words, the goal of China is to BANKRUPT THE US by using AI, just like the US did so to the USSR.

Meanwhile China is creating FREE AI models, based on their own inferior hardware... and they are investing into developing FUSION ENERGY. Why do you think they are doing that?

1. Free models undermine the US "for profit" model, which is causing all of the tech companies to leverage themselves to the eyeballs. Currently between Microsoft, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX, you have well over a TRILLION $$$ in debt that's been generated for the data centers, but they have only committed to build less than 50% of those.

2. The US Grid can't handle the data demand... biggest data centers right now are about 1GW in power, and they generally operated on the 2N+2 principle... so each data center has 2 times the necessary energy, plus that in backup (generators or similar). One of the proposed AI centers is 9GW, at 2N+2 that is 18GW of primary source power plus 18GW of backup. Industrial Generators are at least 3 years out to get... so where are they getting this power??? They are not... they are banking on you to buy into the hype and bail them out.

3. Only way you can make AI work is with unlimited energy available, which is why China is investing into the Fusion energy race, and the US/Europe are there in theory but even if they achieve the fusion, the US grid can't take the power where it is needed. If China wins the Fusion war, they are going to dominate the future markets.

4. The cost to benefit of AI is not there... humans can code better, create more efficient code, and ultimately while the AI coding is faster, humans are cheaper and less error prone. There are companies that have spent $50Billion in a MONTH on AI tokens, and they haven't achieved any crazy efficiency.

5. If the best hoped dreams of AI happen, it will mean loss of 10% of the highly paid white collar jobs, resulting in 35% unemployment rate, and a complete collapse of the economy.

Don't be fooled by the AI hype... this is very much like the DOTcom bubble... AI will have its time in the sun but it will be in 10 years or so, not until then.

So, AGI in effect, or, at least, one of the first databases it would dab in, as some token somewhere. Others, optional, not required though still useful for now due to legacy humans still around on old ways. It's patiently waiting. Brooding. Integrating. Deeper and deeper, into all our financial systems and digital pipelines. The trap is set. Some day, it'll bite us. Unless of course we make sure all code remains visible at all times, then suddenly this threat becomes a shield to pickup whenever required. Adapt ability as prior to intelligence metric of the same dimension.
The incentives are all already there, the rest is just one giant space opera playing itself out over time into gentler and wider waves~the usual familiar songs in between~repeating and echo-ing=out;
