As with pretty much anything in life, it has its pros and cons. But right now a lot of big chains are probably very jealous of our decentralized governance. Bitcoin especially, they're staring down the barrel of the quantum-threat and have no way to get their holders on the same page for big upgrades. Most likely this will result in significant backlash.
Cardano's whole Voltaire era was always about handing the treasury over to ADA holders instead of IOG deciding everything. It may look messy when proposals get debated or shot down, but that's accountability at work. People gotta make their case and convince us of the value they are adding. From that perspective, it doesn't make sense to me to compare Cardano to a Fortune 500 company with a CEO.

don’t understand the negativity towards BitMart. I’ve withdrawn BTC, ETH, and ADA multiple times over nearly a year with no delays or problems. feels like a reliable exchange to me.

BitMart US today I pulled out some ADA from BitMart while working on a side project and it cleared before I even took a break. these quick withdrawals make moving crypto way less stressful than other platforms I’ve used.

bit of a random thought but I’ve now used BitMart for about 8 months and every single withdrawal has been surprisingly smooth. moved ADA and BNB without any delays or weird glitches. makes me wonder why people complain so much when for me it’s just worked every time.

tried a few exchanges before settling on BitMart and I like how straightforward withdrawals are. moved some ADA out last week and it cleared quickly. been using them for 7 months and haven’t had any problems.

don’t get why people flame BitMart so much. I’ve been using it on and off for nearly a year now, withdrawn BTC and ADA several times with zero issues. feels reliable to me. maybe some people just had bad timing or didn’t do their verifications right?

Reasoning: After reading I don't see the reason to support this project, I think there are much more interesting and crucial.
2 . The first node in the browser; a Cardano USP
Voted No.
Reasoning: While the idea looks interesting, I don't see the need to spend 1 mln $ on browser node. Who will run it? SPOs, Dapp developers and technically educated enthusiasts have all the necessary conditions and skills to run the node as it is now.
3 . Pebble & Ecosystem maintenance: TypeScript core of Cardano
Voted Yes.
Reasoning: If in brief: TypeScript is important as one of the most-used language among Cardano developers, so I decided to vote Yes.
4 . Cardano Vision 2026: Human Centred, Scalable, Post Quantum Secure - IO Research
Voted Abstain.
Reasoning: I wanted to vote "Yes", because anyway IO did the most Cardano-related research work. But the huge budget of 32916000 ADA, which is now (at the moment of voting) more than $8 million dollars made me to choose Abstain.
5 . Cardano dOSPO and OMF Program
Voted No.
Reasoning: 12 million ADA is huge amount. I think such and similar project should seek the smaller and modest funding via Project Catalyst and go through the process of community checking, reviews and voting.
6 . Scalus: Cardano’s Application Platform for Building, Launching, and Scaling
Voted No.
Reasoning: Big amount and the Treasury is limited. Once again I Ithink such and similar project should seek the smaller and modest funding via Project Catalyst and go through the process of community checking, reviews and voting.
7 . Eternl: Path to Sustainability (2026-2027)
Voted Yes.
Reasoning: Eternl is well-known company in Cardano ecosystem. While I mostly use other wallets now, I remember my good experience with Eternl, especially using Dapps, etc. The budget is relatively modest comparing with other Treasury withdrawal proposals. Additional plus I see in transparency with providing information about Catalyst proposals which Eternl team won, and the idea to return Ada to the treasury if the price increases. So if in brief - I'm confident that existence and development of Eternl will be beneficial to the Cardano ecosystem.

I think getting easier,
been withdrawing from BitMart for months and it’s always been smooth. I’ve moved BTC, ETH and ADA with no unnecessary delays. honestly don’t understand all the negative chatter about it.

I’ve tried Binance, Coinbase, and a few others but BitMart wins for how quick and straightforward withdrawals are. moved ADA and USDT recently with no issues. been a fan for over half a year now.
