ACS, 120k is now 5k. Life goes on 100k won't change my life. I haven't sold it yet to offset tax on new investment gains.

Politics aside, I’m just trying to understand how the eligibility criteria are being applied and whether I’m missing something.
From what I’ve read from multiple sources, the requirements are:
* Child is 10 years old or younger
* Child is not eligible for the federal $1,000 Trump Account seed money
* Child has a valid Social Security Number
* Child lives in a ZIP code with a median household income below $150,000
My child’s information matches all of those requirements. I also verified that our ZIP code’s reported median household income is below the $150k threshold using Census-based data.
However, when I enter the information into the Invest America Dell eligibility checker, it says my child is not eligible.
Has anyone else run into this? Is the site using a different income dataset or qualifying ZIP code list than publicly available Census/ACS data? Or is the eligibility checker known to have issues?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who’s experienced the same thing or has insight into how eligibility is actually being determined. I’m only looking to understand the eligibility process, not debate the policy itself.
