DefiLlama doesn’t have the most accurate data for Katana. There’s a gap and it doesn’t record VaultBridge revenue or CoL revenue.
And I’d argue that there really isn’t new chain doing better. Chains like Monad and MegaEth raised a ton of money (over $500M & $100M respectively) vs Katana which deliberately did not do a raise. So that’s an apples and oranges comparison.
Katana is more similar to Hyperliquid in that respect.
Katana is clearly outperforming Story, Bera, Sonic, Secret, Movement, Somnia, Abstract, Ink, 0G, Sahara, etc.
It’s also a very different category than Canton, Plasma, and Tempo. But those 3 still fit my thesis of owning the stack, it’s just serving a very different customer/user.
