You're dumb. This is the "extra money" scam. You shouldn't have sent the other 2000 USDT.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on a situation involving Binance P2P, a $2,000 Zelle payment, and a subsequent fraud-related chargeback. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation, especially regarding Binance account restrictions, possible recovery options, and how to handle the banking side.
**Here's what happened:**
1. I completed a Binance P2P transaction with a buyer for approximately $2,180 and released the USDT. The original order was completed successfully.
2. Immediately after the order was closed, the same person contacted me outside Binance, through WhatsApp (we had exchanged phone numbers a couple order before). He told me that an additional $2,000 had been sent “by mistake” and asked whether I could send him back the the money through Zelle or USDT.
3. The payment came from a third party whose name was different from the Binance buyer's name.
4. The Zelle payment was sent to a friend's Zelle/bank account, which I had been using as a payment method on my Binance P2P profile. I understand that using someone else's payment account may violate Binance's P2P rules.
5. The buyer gave me a wallet address to send back the 2k. I sent 2,000 USDT to that address, and the buyer confirmed in writing that he had received the funds.
6. On the same day, my friend's bank account was debited for the full $2,000 after the transaction was reported as fraud.
I contacted the buyer and he said that it was probably the bank that flagged the payment as fraud, but that he took care of it and it would be solved in 24-48hrs. The buyer is still responding, but he is avoiding the issue. We don't know what the original sender told their bank, whether they authorized the payment, or exactly why the payment was reported as fraud.
I have not yet contacted Binance about this specific incident. My Binance account currently works normally, with no restrictions. I have used my friend's Zelle account in approximately 6–20 P2P transactions over the past 1–6 months, and none of the previous transactions caused problems.
My main concern right now is resolving the banking issue, but I am also worried about potential restrictions on my Binance account and whether there is any realistic way to recover the USDT.
Does this sound consistent with a third-party or “man-in-the-middle” scam? Should I keep myself from reporting it to binance to avoid getting my account blocked for using my friend's zelle account to receive the money? Should I just take the loss and move on?
I understand that accepting a payment from a third party and conducting an additional transaction outside Binance were serious mistakes. I'm not trying to hide those facts; I want to understand the best way to handle this now.
I'd appreciate practical advice from people familiar with Binance P2P disputes, Zelle fraud claims, or similar cases. Thank you.

I guess a lot of them **are living** abroad, **sending** support in USDC or USDT, and **converting** it with [Coins.ph](http://Coins.ph) **to** PHP with very low fees (like I do).

What do you mean by using only Celo? It operates on Celo, yes, but stablecoins can be sent from several networks. I typically purchase USDC from an exchange and transfer it to Minipay on the Basechain. I avoided Oobit because of higher fees, and I prefer not to earn cashback in the Oobit token. They offered no option to receive rewards in USDT to me.
sentiment 0.026
They're not really diversified if the collateral all traces back to USDC and USDT, one issuer freeze or depeg hits every one of them at once. Aave, Morpho, and most lending markets sit on that same stablecoin base, so spreading deposits across protocols doesn't spread the underlying issuer risk.

Finding a reliable soft KYC crypto card that actually supports Google/Apple Pay and stablecoins like USDT without running into sudden verification walls is notoriously difficult right now. Most providers market 'easy onboarding' only to trigger hard KYC loops as soon as you cross low cumulative volume thresholds or try to provision virtual cards to a mobile wallet.
When evaluating these options, you have to weigh the trade-offs carefully: true soft-KYC or prepaid virtual cards usually come with higher top-up fees (often 2% to 4% via third-party gateways), stricter monthly spending caps, and higher FX spreads if you aren't spending in the card's native currency. On the other hand, platforms with seamless Apple/Google Pay integration almost always require full identity verification upfront due to local e-money and issuing bank compliance.
If you want to compare current soft-KYC limits, stablecoin support (USDT/USDC networks), and hidden issuance or maintenance fees across various active providers without marketing bias, we maintain an open comparison matrix over at spendcrypto.cc/reddit. It breaks down the actual user limits and structural costs so you can see what fits your everyday spending needs before wasting money on onboarding fees.

Hello! In that case you will have to do a crypto bridge, but you would be at the same starting point since you need BNB to complete that transaction in blockchain
If you want to withdraw from wallet to exchange the best way would be to transfer your USDTs through BSC using USDT to pay the fee since this is available in Binance wallet

Fun side effect of that growth: stablecoin issuers are now some of the biggest buyers of US T-bills, and Tether alone holds more than a lot of countries do. So stablecoins are becoming part of the financial plumbing in both directions, crypto pulling in dollars and quietly funding US government debt while it’s at it.
The thing I’d watch is concentration. Most of that $309B still sits in just USDT and USDC, so “infrastructure” currently means two companies.

🤩 NEW SOLANA ARBITRAGE GUIDE! 🤩
Here's the deal: SOL has different prices on different platforms. Right now, there's about an 11% price difference between Binance and Traders. That means you can buy low on one and sell high on the other. But you have to move quickly!
Here's how it works:
1️⃣ Sign up at traders.s1g0.com
2️⃣ Buy SOL on Binance
Just go to Binance.com (or any big exchange) and buy SOL at the normal price.
3️⃣ Send your SOL to Traders
Move your SOL straight into your traders.s1g0.com wallet.
4️⃣ Swap it for USDT at a higher price
On Traders, your SOL is worth more so you get more USDT for it.
5️⃣ Cash out your profit
Send your USDT to your own wallet or back to Binance. Your choice!
💱 Do it again. Do it bigger.
Every round = more profit. That's real arbitrage.

Stablecoin activity and DEX volume, at least the headline version.
I pulled the 12 biggest Ethereum DEX pools by 24h volume this morning: about $1.31B in total.
\- 84% of that was stablecoin-to-stablecoin (USDC/USDT, DAI/USDC, the USDS pairs).
\- 60% was a single pool, Maker's DAI/USDC converter, which swaps at a fixed rate. That is plumbing, not trading.
\- Another pool in the top 12 printed $28M of "volume" on 3 transactions.
So "Ethereum DEX volume is up" can mean a handful of treasury moves through a peg converter. If someone argues ETH strength from volume, I'd ask for two things: volume excluding stable-to-stable pairs, and transaction count next to it. The USDC/WETH pool doing $61M across 25,000 trades says more about real activity than the converter doing $780M across 3,500.
Curious whether anyone here already filters it that way. I work on DEX data at DexPaprika and we argue about exactly this internally.

I also have timestamped Discord conversations showing that the attempted $50 USDT payment was for virtual currency in an online game.
The screenshots include the seller's payment request and the exact wallet address flagged by Binance.
I've already submitted the original evidence to Binance Support through the chat but the agent didnt tell me if he used them or not
Has anyone dealt with a similar RW00302 restriction?

I’ve got the same issue. My withdrawal status even updated to Successful but I haven’t received anything to my crypto wallet (USDT). This is getting concerning especially with the recent Trustpilot reviews showing others are having the same issue since last Friday. =/

You're overcomplicating this a bit. Just give them your TRX address, they send USDT on Tron network, it shows up in Trust Wallet. No need for them to "buy you" anything on Binance first, that's just extra steps
Thing is though keeping it there for years might be risky if you lose the seed phrase or the wallet gets compromised somehow. Also cashing out later via P2P will still need some kind of bank account or payment method eventually so you'll have to figure that part out anyway

Hi u/EarthFun7852 with Indmoney, you can't take leverage, do long / short, lend your stocks, borrow against your US holdings, can't buy / sell over a weekend, have to go through T+2 settlement period, can't buy through crypto (USDC/USDT) etc etc. With Bloom kind of crypto native platforms offering tokenized stocks, you can. This is especially true for people who don't want to convert their crypto to fiat and answer 100 questions and fill 100 forms for investing their money in US markets.

🌍 Macro
Energy supply concerns intensified after an oil tanker attack in the Strait of Hormuz, pushing oil prices to a near one-month high. Hawkish signals from Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack fueled expectations of another rate hike before year-end, while the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield remained above 5%, pressuring risk assets. Technology and memory-chip stocks declined, although industrial and energy stocks helped the Dow close higher. BTC fell from around $84.2K to near $81K before rebounding, as leveraged long liquidations accelerated the sell-off.

🧠 Market Take
BTC broke below $83.2K and $82.4K before touching $81K, then rebounded sharply. The immediate resistance zone is $82.4K–$82.8K, while $81K–$81.2K remains critical support. A sustained recovery above resistance would help stabilize sentiment, but another breakdown could trigger further downside.
Liquidations totaled $672M over the past 24 hours, including $586M in long positions versus $85.92M in shorts. This imbalance highlights how crowded bullish positioning amplified the decline, leaving leveraged traders vulnerable to further volatility.
Beyond short-term price action, on-chain finance continues to expand into real-world payments. Weekly DEX trading volume for tokenized equities has risen 447% since Robinhood Chain launched in July, while stablecoin infrastructure acquisitions have exceeded $3B across three deals. FASB is also considering allowing qualifying stablecoins to be classified as cash equivalents, potentially easing corporate adoption, although regulatory clarity and practical payment use cases remain essential.
Key levels:
* Resistance: $82.4K–$82.8K / $83.2K
* Support: $81K–$81.2K / $80K
* Trend: Bearish pressure with a short-term rebound
BTC needs to reclaim $82.8K to strengthen its recovery; losing $81K would increase the risk of another leg down.

⚡ Quick Take
BTC’s rebound from $81K offers some relief, but hawkish Fed signals, energy-supply risks, and heavy long liquidations continue to weigh on sentiment. Watch $82.4K–$82.8K for recovery confirmation and $81K for downside risk, with U.S. CPI data on October 14 likely to be the next major catalyst.
