I’ve been looking at Veda as a vault infrastructure and curation layer rather than a single yield product. I traced one live Ethereum deployment, and the risk profile depended more on the named vault than on Veda’s aggregate TVL.
The parts that matter:
* The Manager can call external targets with calldata and native value, subject to the active policy.
* Curator and strategist controls determine the vault’s active strategy permissions.
* A withdrawal queue isn’t instant liquidity. Maturity, deadlines, discounts, solver capacity, and available assets all matter.
* The sampled strategist-to-Merkle-root mapping remained unresolved.
* The sampled BoringVault held 89.000001 USDC and 0.1 USDT directly. Those balances don’t establish solvency or complete asset backing because external positions weren’t fully inventoried.
* The public vault API returned `401 Unauthorized`, so aggregate TVL couldn’t be decomposed by vault, chain, curator, or strategy.
* Audit evidence is commit-specific and doesn’t certify every current deployment.
My verdict was **high risk for unqualified direct vault exposure**. A first allocation, if someone proceeds, should involve one named vault on one chain, after checking current strategy positions, the Merkle root and strategist, the authority map, accounting state, queue history, and actual exit liquidity.
Questions:
* Should vault interfaces expose the current strategist identity and Merkle root by default?
* What evidence is enough to treat a vault share as liquid?
* Are queued exits acceptable for products presented as liquid vaults?

The people saying the prefunding never disappears are right, and it's worth pushing that one step further because it's the whole game: "spend directly" doesn't remove the cost of getting from a dollar balance to Colombian pesos, it just moves that cost somewhere you can't see it. At the MoneyGram counter the FX spread was an ugly number printed on a receipt. On a card that debits your stablecoin balance at authorisation, the same USD-to-COP conversion still happens, it's just buried in the rate the issuer applies on Visa's settlement leg. Same cost, less visible, and "less visible" is not the same as "gone."

So the DeFi-relevant question isn't "can you spend without cashing out" (you can, that part's solved) - it's "what's the all-in spread on the stablecoin-to-local-currency leg versus the old cash-out loop." And that's where it gets uncomfortable, because that number is basically unmeasurable on-chain right now. Almost every stablecoin with real liquidity is USD-pegged; there's effectively no COP-denominated stablecoin with meaningful on-chain depth, so there's no on-chain COP price to benchmark the card's conversion against. Even EUR, the biggest non-USD stablecoin, is a rounding error next to USDC/USDT. Which means today the FX leg on these cards is priced entirely off-chain and you're trusting the issuer's disclosed rate, exactly like tradfi remittance, just with a nicer app in front of it.

The version of this that actually delivers the "cash-out loop is dead" promise is one where the local-currency leg is itself on-chain and priced transparently, so you can compare the card's rate to a live market rate instead of taking it on faith. We're not there yet, and the gap is measurable: it's the absence of deep non-USD stablecoin markets. (I work on market data at Coinpaprika and we're building out stablecoin coverage, so the visibility of that FX leg is the exact thing I watch.

Hey everyone, sharing my latest BTC/USDT chart view. Looking closely at current support and resistance levels for the next potential move. What are your thoughts on the current momentum?

Selling ~$104 USDT on P2P for PayPal , how do I avoid getting chargeback scammed?

The it solves the exact same problem as BTC, it’s literally a fork of BTC, but does it cheaper, faster, and with optional privacy.
If you ever consider using BTC to do a transfer, just use LTC instead - that’s the use case.
I generally don’t want to use stuff like USDT, so I use LTC for transfers.

Non emerging market currencies just havent hyperflated... yet... and we are so gaslit people don't know that it is just at a slower rate.
Stables like USDT loses value "less slowly" than their local currency and faster, cheaper (fees) and no cross border issues - or less cross border issues. Easy to turn into BTC also and save for lo ger term. Everyone should use stable coins.

USDT on Tron specifically: 1) very fast 2) very cheap 3) stable known value 4) less under US control (that's an illusion) 5) liquid, easy to offload
everything else is way too expensive to move, way too slow, not enough demand so not as liquid, and anything USDC or ETC related is considered under full US control

We have a website with a system where users need to deposit money as a security deposit or collateral (Forum).
For security and trust reasons, I don't want the money to be held directly by us. Instead, I'm looking into whether we could use a blockchain smart contract or some other decentralized solution to hold the funds.
The idea is that people who advertise/promote content that has a deposit attached to it would receive a commission, for example 10% or 15%, based on predefined rules. The commission would be handled automatically by the system, while users would still be able to see and track their funds from their own wallets at all times.
We are also considering creating a kind of hot wallet network that users could use to send and receive funds between each other within our platform.
My main question is: would something like this be possible to build on the Tron network using smart contracts?
I'm still researching the technical side of this and I don't know all the details yet, so I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions from people who have experience with Tron USDT, smart contracts, or similar systems.

yeah, USDC, etc sort of have this compliance things with them. The same with USDT.
The best way is to get a Monero from a no kyc exchange. Then swap it to a new stablecoin wallet with very little history, etc.
Sometime your wallet addresses get caught in a risky cluster of address, and you know, they don't want to deal with you anymore.
