"hedge to a non-fiat monetary regime"
It's based on Tether USDT and that's a scam. Very simple.

how would they prove this and how would you report it? for example if I send USDT from a self-custodial wallet to another self-custodial wallet. does that incur a taxable event in this legislation?

This 2 day old account keeps posting basically the same thing here in CB and /cryptoscams. Either hoping for a different answer from people or will be replying soon that they found someone who got them all their money and the 1 Mil USDT and if you click on this link they can help you too.

DEX + Cold Wallet + Cold Staking.
I'm using OKX if you're wondering. kaso mga law abiding citizen kayo kaya yan nalang yung safe suggestions.

Tether is issued on public blockchains and someone has done [free chain analysis.](https://protos.com/tether-papers-crypto-stablecoin-usdt-investigation-analysis/) All the disclosure from the 2018 USDT collapse is public because of the NYAG.
It's there for anyone to see.

I withdrew some USDT from a CEX recently and ETH was actually the cheapest option.
It was……very weird.

In my case, when there was an error in in the transfer, it automatically reverted the crypto back to Revolut and it tried to do so on an unsupported network.
This is what is said on their website:
Examples of supported currencies and networks
BTC transfers on the Bitcoin network
ETH, USDC, and MATIC on the Ethereum network
USDT on both the Ethereum and TRON networks
If you use an unsupported network (e.g.: attempt to transfer USDT on BSC network or ETH on BASE network), you might lose your crypto.

It's built on fraud as well, I think somewhere around 70% of the Bitcoin trading is happening in USDT... a completely unregulated stablecoin that Tether has put out a trustmebro statement that it's backed with equivalent (??) USD lmao
So most likely there is not a lot of liquidity would people try to exchange it into real dollars.

Personally the things I'm most excited about rgb are the privacy and scaling implications. I don't much care about the tokens or smart contracts, though I think having native USDT is a plus.
I'm also more interested in their decentralized storage and computing protocols but that's down the line I think.

From documents obtained during the NYAG investigation, in October 2018, tether had become effectively insolvent. At that time they were still effectively prohibited from using the banking system and one too many of their criminal associates had absconded.
Someone wrote them a check for $1B in the first week of November 2018, which accounted for about half the market cap of USDT at the time.
Presumably, the largest crypto trader in the world would know if tether collapsed. And yet, in the full video linked to, the largest crypto trader in the world is touting tether as one of the most used tokens and laughing off liquidity concerns.
***
So the question would be, why would anyone waste time trading on markets where the dominant market maker always seems to have been issued about [half the dollar liquidity.](https://protos.com/tether-papers-crypto-stablecoin-usdt-investigation-analysis/)

You won't find USDC/USDT native on any UTXO chain, primarily only EVM and other account based chains. Primarily it's easier to implement, simply debit and credit, whereas UTXO generate unspent outputs - basically a cash like system, you pay a $100 dollar bill for a $65 item and receive back a $5 and three $10 bills. Advantage is that it's more secure and Immutable and much harder to double spend, and also tends to offer more privacy than account based models..
The downside is the complexity of smart contract coding in UTXO.

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone here. Experienced this issue. This was a result of a duplicate voucher uploaded. I'd like to know if after the supplemental was done, were you ablet to widraw your funds as usual
?
Hello, sir. According to feedback from the finance department, you have an uncompleted order of 804.19 USDT. You must supplement the uncompleted deposit order in order to withdraw all funds from your account. Please supplement the uncompleted order within 24 hours, otherwise you will be suspected of defrauding the exchange of funds, and the system will freeze your account.

Been comparing yields across chains and the differences are wild. AAVE on Avalanche is giving 4-5% on stables while mainnet/Base barely hits 3-4%. Standard stuff.
But then I'm seeing some protocols on Core offering 12-13% base on USDC/USDT, and WBTC at 1.8% instead of the 0.1% you get on mainnet AAVE. Even crazier, there's this subscription model where you pay monthly to boost yields - like taking stables from 12% to 17%+, or stCORE from 0.27% to 44%. The math actually works out if you have over $1k idle since the boost pays for the subscription cost.
Just wondering what everyone's actually doing - sticking with blue chips like AAVE for safety, chasing these higher yields on newer chains like Core, or just leaving everything idle for flexibility? Looking for something I can set and forget rather than actively manage.
What's working for you all?
