Reasons I reduced trading volume at Tasty; inconsistent fills that leave you stuck in a trade, $5 assignment fee, a lot of early assignments I’ve never experienced anywhere else, horrible contract fee structure that is not competitive, horrible mobile chart, high buying power requirements for naked positions compared to Schwab, too many random glitches on mobile and desktop. 
I would consider them again if all of the mentioned issues are improved. 

I'm interested to hear from the people who formerly traded with tastytrade and are currently with Schwab using thinkorswim.
* What do you miss about tastytrade?
* What would tempt you back?
* What keeps you at Schwab using thinkorswim?

I've currently got most funds at Fidelity and their options tools are not up to par, and I'm looking to move funds to either TT or TOS.
I've got a teensy bit of money at TT for some live trades to give it a good evaluation, and I've made plenty of use of the TOS paper money account. I'm having a hell of a time making the decision, since there are things about each platform that I like.
So I'm interested to hear from folks who've settled this decision and even those who still wrestle with it.
(I've posted the mirror image of this in r/tastytrade , so for anyone who frequents both subs please forgive the similar post.)

I think the difficulty you are experiencing is that Covered Return is an annual calculation. Calculating annual returns from a 21 day instrument can swing wildly depending on inputs. I believe they use the "mid" for the Covered Call sale price. So depending on Bid/Ask spread can swing wildly. Also, the calc is different for OTM versus ITM options. For OTM options (your case) they assume that the option expires worthless and the stock is unch'd at expiration. For ITM options they assume that the stock gets called away.

I use IRR calcs in excel/google sheets and you can get pretty close to TOS calcs. Here's a screenshot with 2 examples using current prices, 22DTE and 351DTE.

can some1 give me the 20 y ear treasury note symbol for TOS? I can't find it

For context, I'm a scalper. I have noticed recently that trying to do "reverse" is not working, becaus TOS says I have insufficient BP, when that's not true. Has anyone been having this issue? (Where order is being rejected for "insufficient BP" despite actually having the BP to do so?)

I use TOS with Schwab and I can go as low as 1 second

It's by design. Especially when market heats up.
Schwab wins. You lose because TOS feezes

First stock I traded I went max red on, came back with some green but had issues with the tape on several stocks on my TOS platform. Was on the phone with Schwab IT for an hour after opening bell had to shut down until an afternoon session and was able to pull in some green on $GOW

"AI" proceeds to drain all your bank accounts through EFTs, then nosedive that money in bad investments directly to the cabals pocket to pay for their short exposure, or transfer all the bad shorts to retail accounts. Then brokerages point to some TOS points you glossed over and leave everyone bankrupt, in margin calls and now general retail accounts are bag holding and paying us 😂

the problem is on my end. i am not wearing my reading glasses miss read the time on TOS. i guess i should change my setup and make the numbers BIG. i better not trade without my glasses or i will go broke.

Because revolut effectly has a no-tolerance policy. They now know you didn't read the TOS, so you're too risky for them.

Sounds sketchy even if it's actually legit. I wouldn't be surprised if this counted as a breach of TOS...
