I like MLPI. No K1. More diversified.

That’s an interesting point… So maybe $MLPI is pretty safe since it’s only North American I believe.

This; all international in taxable. Be sure to avoid ETFs where the minority of holdings are international. The IRS doesn’t let them pass the FTC down to you. For that reason I cut $VT & $UTF today, leaned into $VTI & $CSS instead, along with $IGF & some EM infrastructure satellites (EM dividends can be higher). Even though it’s not FTC-eligible, I’m keeping $MLPI because it’s pretty dang tax-efficient (& I believe that mid-stream energy is where the demand will be in the future).

C - but I have 3% MLPI and 2% BTCI. The monthly income usually goes into SGOV, SCHG, or buying more of the loser. It has been working ok when I can't contribute. These CC funds are close to paying off the initial investment so whatever happens next is just more money.

Retired. Probably less than 10% of my portfolio is in CC etfs. Have half of my assets managed by a wealth management team and the other half I control. I’m still currently dripping SPYI JEPQ MLPI I will start taking cash and drip half next year.

75% currently, almost 40. Have exited/exiting real estate investments to switch to equal weighted IWMI, QQQI, SPYI, MLPI currently which gives me \~6400/mo. I have another investment property on the market that’ll give me around another 700k to add more plus IAUI and GPIQ/GPIX
The cash flow beats real estate after taxes and I don’t spend 100% of the total so I don’t worry about the growth drag, I can save between 4-7k/mo to put into VT or other investments to make up for that side of it. I also have quicker access to borrow funds if I wanted at a lower rate than borrowing against the real estate outright

The strategy of starving Iran won’t work as the people there are already accustomed to very tough periods and low living standards. The only other option imo is to try to offset the loss of oil on the domestic market, through whatever means possible and try to wait it out. This is a very shitty spot. I am very long MLPs through AMLP and MLPI.

2 core holdings of CC ETFs, MLPI, SPYI 15% each of total portfolio. Everything else is regular dividend payers that I sell and will continue to sell covered calls on. Should be at about $15,000 in ETF income monthly plus another $5000-$7000 from remainder of portfolio. I plan for the best and am prepared for the worst.

Larger newer options mostly. I like the NEOS funds. About $125K split between QQQI, SPYI, MLPI, IWMI, IAUI, IYRI. I have another good amount (\~40K) into muni tax free bond funds (NZF). I have something like 20 funds altogether. The above is the large portion. Others are more like a $5K position each to diversity a bit more.

I think it's just part of the times changing; newer things become available & then they become mainstream. The ones that withstand the test of time sift to the top, but they shouldn't be discounted.
**$IWMI** & **$IDVO**, for example, have done really well in my portfolio (granted, I haven't held them too long). If they ever dip below my average, I'm adding. I didn't get in on **$MLPI** at the right time & made the mistake of thinking things only go up , but I'm using every dip as a chance to load as it seems pretty illiquid & supply & demand could take control once the shares settle. All 3 of those also do ROC so they're realy tax-efficient.
