I did use it to some success on the daily chart a while ago (initially did it on lower timeframes, had to move up because i just needed way more decision time).
Eventually I just created my own system that's kinda similar. It only takes trend continuation trades (similar to Volman's FB, DD, SB in his FPAS book), but with my own entry setup that I found simpler to execute (wait for a trend bar near the 20 EMA, then enter on the close in the direction of the trend).
It exploits the same edges as Volman's book, just with different setups. And I've also been using the same trade management plan described in the comment you replied to as well (not the "tipping point technique" with fixed target approach that Volman writes about in his book).
