That pump was just to give you FOMO. Now your calls will expire worthless.

Exactly where I'm at. More patient and discerning. No FOMO for me since I unloaded a lot of bags at 120 and shuffled out a lot of stuff I never should have bought.

How shall a loss spread? Companies have credit management and banks. They don't give single customers that much credit that they get into danger if one customer does. If this happens greed and FOMO is the cause, same as a retarded trader blowing his account.

You may be right that this exact market won’t always be around, but being in front of the screen doesn’t mean he’ll capture it profitably—especially after only a few months. A vacation won’t destroy a genuine edge. Feeling unable to step away because you might miss something is FOMO, not development.

The “AI Bubble” actually combines the worst aspects of the Dotcom Bubble and the ‘08 Housing Crash simultaneously. Which is a delusional public belief in the capabilities of a new technology driven by media hype and venture capital (fueled by naïve ignorance by all parties involved) while thinking that a market is “too big to fail” simply because it upholds the world economy and is subject to top-down governmental corruption that ensures its bloating survival.
Capitalism has never outmaneuvered the Tulip Bulb. They’ve just given it sleek focus-group surveyed buzzwords to drive Greed/Fear into the normie lizard brains more motivated by FOMO than ever. But in the plane of reality, it’s just a fucking flower bud.
Any human(s) involved in the arbitrage of capital speculation guarantees that a “bubble” forms, especially in an unmapped market that doesn’t exploit a need for human survival (unlike housing). But the marketing, maneuvering, and book-cooking involved to keep it all afloat is the novel lesson that is learned and carried over to the next bubble that forms. Where the rhetoric is simply madlibbed and the Samsara life-cycle repeats.

Good Post. Sensible Post. A post people should take seriously. So Silver jumps sharply at the beginning of the month, and then goes vertical right when NY opens? Of course it's a trap. I sold 200 ounces and got $85 an ounce. I paid $16 an ounce. That $$$ is sitting in cash, just waiting for the real silver smash to begin. I would have sold a lot more, but this time likely will be different, and all PM's will be just about 'unobtainium' at their cycle lows, which always occurs after a big crash. I did not sell my gold, or my Platinum this last time, because this time will be different.
I will start buying at $40 or so. If it goes down much lower it will not be available. There will still be some fools selling PM's back to the major sites, and I'll be checking the Secondary Market offerings 20 times a day, just like I did in 2020. If there is one thing that newcomers need to know about PM's, it's that The FED does not want you owning them. They periodically let silver run up, sucker in FOMO buyers at the top, then slam it down to unbelievably low levels. All to make the normies abandon silver, and all PM's in general.

A week is nothing lol. You’re basically still paying tuition.
From what you wrote, your biggest issue isn’t picking the wrong coins, it’s the usual beginner cycle: sell winners too early, hold losers too long, then FOMO into something after it already ran.
Biggest thing I learned is stop trying to catch the whole move. If I buy at 500k and sell at 1.5m and it goes to 10m after, who cares. I made money. Missing a pump costs you $0. Chasing it is what kills you.
I watch bigger wallets but wouldn’t blindly copy them. You have no idea if they entered earlier, are already scaling out, or if that trade is tiny for them. Better for finding stuff than copying entries.
For memes, attention matters more than almost anything. Is attention growing, are new people coming in, is volume increasing, is the meme spreading naturally? You want something becoming popular, not something everyone already discovered.
Your TOAD example is probably the best lesson here. The mistake wasn’t necessarily not buying the vamp. It was watching attention/liquidity move away from the OG and still holding because you hoped they’d come back.
Don’t get loyal to bags.
Also take partial profits. You don’t need to full sell or full hold. Take some off when you’re up and leave a bit running. Makes FOMO way easier to deal with.
And keep size small for now, not because “memecoins bad,” but because you need enough runway to make mistakes and learn from them.
You’re one week in. You’re not behind. You’re just currently the exit liquidity sometimes 😂

Morning everyone!
Economic report(s) scheduled for the day is(are) | at^[i](https://fidelityfiplus.econoday.com/byweek): None. Media platforms are discussing: AI Capex compared to Revenues, Inflation concerns, Gold’s breakout, Jobs report analysis, Expectations for AI Agents, FOMO traders, US-Iran talks, AI price competition, Housing markets. Once again, hopes are being peddled for the markets as rationalization of capital expenses by companies is poured on to the claims of sales growth in certain areas, even if those may be lacking customers actually using AI products the companies have been creating; The search for practical applications continues, though some companies are using it for a few things that are less sensitive to mistakes (like early concepts). Premarket futures were mixed this morning, with the S&P up very slightly, the Nasdaq up modestly, the Dow and Russell 2k were down, VIX futures were also down.
MVIS ended the last trading session at 3.39, on lower volume traded compared to the split adjusted daily average over the past month. Stock price action saw the Short related volumes by percentage of the total _reported_ volumes came in well above the average of the last 30 days. There was a time when MicroVision could point at their controlled spending as a point of better performance than their competitors, where others might have seen massive Sales and Marketing costs or exorbitant Research and Development associated with their meager sales. While those things have remained true to some degree, the unfortunate reality is that MicroVision has spent large on acquisitions that have hit the books in such a way that removes the argument of being particularly prudent. The expenses on those acquisitions have to be put into the context of improving sales, though that improvement is balanced against the costs associated, and the bottom line remains negative.

FOMO is probably the most expensive lesson in trading. The moment you feel like you HAVE to enter because everyone else is making money, thats usually when you should do nothing. Missing a trade costs you zero, chasing one can cost a lot.

Congratulation, you will see the magic as started very soon. Keep it up.

See, keep it simple and cut the noise- Do not do gold for now - Just keep one fund - Multi cap. You can pick any from top 10 AMC. Going forward as you groww in money just add 2 more funds - Pure Mid Cap, Pure Small Cap, down the line in 8-10Y - Buy gold of max 5% of your whole portfolio (Don't buy out of FOMO)
Congratulation again! just keep it going no matter what.
