Hey all, as I tweak my portfolio in anticipation of a February retirement, I find myself with a fairly spread out portfolio in terms of risk and dividend yield. From FZDXX money market yield at 4.14% to QQQI at 13.96%. In between I have 3 PIMCO CEFs, some senior loan ETFs (SEIX and FLBL), two corporate bond funds, HYS and SPYI. I have O for a REIT and PFE. What I am missing are some quality BDCs or BDC ETFs, preferably yielding \~10%. I think it would be good to allocate no more than 5% to anyone issue be it a fund or single stock. My problem is I get caught up in analysis paralysis especially when it comes to BDCs. My ETF screening tools at Schwab and Fidelity do not appear to allow me to filter by BDC or BDC ETF (if they do, please tell me how to do so). Ideally, I'd like to see a weighted average dividend yield across all issues of between 9-11% which represent a compromise I can accept between risk and return. Though I prefer funds, I am open to single issue BDCs, too. If you think I could benefit from anything other than adding BDCs, please feel free to weigh in, too.
Your comments are valued! Thanks in advance!
