well just to be safe. you never know in crypto world. IBIT FBTC and ARKB they all have similar expense ratio.

If you're not going to own a spot BTC ETF like FBTC or IBIT, I'd recommend FDIG. I just set this up in wife's Roth:
50% of monthly DCA into FZROX
50% of monthly DCA into FDIG
FZROX is Fidelity's ZERO total stock market index. As in ZERO expenses/fees. As I see it, this is investing in the traditional financial system.
FDIG OTOH is Fidelity's Digital Assets fund, which represents the future financial system. You're investing here in all the technology around crypto. With a .39% expense ratio, you're getting exposure to it at a very reasonable price.
There is no question Wall Street will integrate FDIG companies into the legacy system. Why? Tokenization, which means 24/7 trading. Which means bigger profits for them.

With all the KYC/AML/SoF BS guarding every on/off ramp nowadays, why not just buy FBTC in brokerage? Other than 24/7 trading, what advantage do you have this way?

Yes. Own IBIT and FBTC within conventional 2 accounts. Then self custody and use a ledger and bitbox02 btc only wallets, and use or have holdings on 3 exchanges

I was one of them. This incident was a slap in the face for every joe-schmo hodler like me that barely has a clue what they are doing. I have traded self custody for FBTC. Pretty sure their security setup is better than what I had going on in my 1 bedroom apartment.

60% VT 20% IAUM and 20% FBTC
Set it and forget it, at minimum $100 per week. When the S&P500 dump more than 5%, dump a few hundred in. Always buy IAUM and stop the buy for FBTC in 2029 and stack the cash for big buys in June/July 2030 and Oct/Nov 2030
