I actually decided to sell my small amount of SPHY shares I had today. I have always used SPHY as my benchmark for any fixed income fund I decide to hold. It’s a solid fund and there are other great income funds out there. Keep in mind these are generally riskier, but higher yielding and higher total performing: CLOZ, FALN, PFFA, and this last one is equity but it behaves like fixed income BUYW. I also hold a lot of closed end funds but I won’t list them. Too many and they are even more risky.
