U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of approximately $231.1M on Monday, according to data from SoSoValue.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) led the withdrawals with $300.4M in outflows, partially offset by inflows of ~$50M into ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) and $35M into Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF (GBTC).
The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $73.19B, with an ETF net asset ratio (market capitalization relative to the total Bitcoin market cap) of 6.05%, as per SoSoValue.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) hovered around $59,279 at press time, down nearly 20% over the past month. Investor sentiment was further dampened after Strategy (MSTR), the world's largest corporate holder of bitcoin, said Monday it could sell more than $1B worth of the cryptocurrency under a new BTC monetization program, marking a notable departure from founder Michael Saylor's long-standing stance against selling the company's bitcoin holdings.
