Yeah XINT solves the South Korea issue, no need to worry about whether FTSE/MSCI classifies the country as developed vs. emerging. Now we can have the full range of stock allocation solutions:
* 1 fund portfolio with XEQT
* 2 fund portfolio with XIC + XAW
* 3 fund portfolio with XIC + XTOT + XINT
* 4 fund portfolio with XIC + XTOT + XEF + XEC
Add XBB/CMR for bond/money-market exposure, and that's pretty much everything 99% of people need.

I've wanted something like XINT for a while, very nice.
XTOT, XIC, and XINT would be a nice combination for people wanting the same underlying exposure as XEQT but with slightly different weights.
Hopefully Vanguard follows up with a similar product (and updates VEE to hold emerging markets stocks directly like XEC).

Just noticed that iShares has released two new fund-of-funds into their lineup:
* IBQT = think of it like 97% XEQT + 3% BTC
* XINT = just the international parts of XEQT
And in a tabular format:
|Underlying Asset|XEQT|IBQT|XINT|
|:-|:-|:-|:-|
|Canadian stocks (XIC)|25%|24%||
|American stocks (XTOT or ITOT)|45%|44%||
|International developed stocks (XEF)|25%|24%|66%|
|Emerging market stocks (XEC)|5%|5%|34%|
|Bitcoin (IBIT)||3%||

I don't need either of these funds for my portfolio, but hey, more ways to slice up the Venn diagram of stock allocation.

Agreed and this was my logic for the telcos. If there's no growth in the sector, I am not going to invest in it. An individual would have done better if they had bought an index ETF like XIC and held for the past 5 or 10 yrs vs. buying the telcos. You get the safety of an ETF and better returns.
My last question to you wasn't to advise you to sell. As I pointed out in my previous post, I agree that you should hold it at this point (I would do the same if I was in your position). I only asked that question to see how confident you were in the company and you have already answered that in your post.
