Who is near them? I'm looking down my Globe and Mail watchlist where I keep all the Canadian ETFs and I see TEC at 11.95% ytd, 4.67% in the last month.
DXU is 19.09% ytd and 9.75% the last month.
HXQ is 9.96ytd, 3.95% last month.
ZQQ is 7.14ytd and 2.54% last month.
XQQ is 7.27% and 2.54%.
These are the big technology ETFs, VFV is 9%ytd so it's almost exactly half of DXU.

I've been putting more and more money into DXG and DXU over the past couple of months because they seem to be outdoing just about any other ETF I can find. What I don't understand is why. The holdings they show on their website seem to be the same big American names that all the other funds hold. Anyone know much about them? I know that they're on BNN Market call a lot. And they seem like smart, savvy, careful people. But I've got over 15% of my portfolio with them now and am slightly paranoid about such things.
