For me, the copper thesis is broad enough that I like watching both the safer and riskier ends of the chain. COPP.TO/COPX-type exposure makes sense for the broad theme. Producers benefit first if copper stays strong. But if the market starts caring more about future supply, tiny juniors can also get attention. NREDF is one I like watching because it gives speculative copper-gold exposure in BC, but I would size it very differently from an ETF.
