Stick with XEQT

My personal experience. I had a very busy professional practice and my savings were in Mutual funds at the bank. When I retired my accountant recommended I use of my funds from a condo sale and buy dividend paying stocks. He gave me a list 20 stocks from Money sense.
I opened a DI account RBC and for 2 years did frequent trading of Canadian stock. In 2018 I lost about 5% and in 2021 gained 21% I then began exploring ETFs. My performance with the individual stocks very similar to XIC, I gradually switched over to ETF and finally settled for XEQT. There is no trading fees for XEQT with RBC DI account.

VEQT, ZEQT and CEQY are similar.

I have mutual funds with Wealth Management division of RBC. The all equity Mutual fund mimics the performance of XEQT
