This very special $5 Gold Liberty is a rarity from the first “D” Mint, located in Georgia. As it has likely been polished, it is about half the price of a straight-graded AU example. I’m willing to consider partial trade for this one. Just send me an offer.

# GOLD
* [1846 Small Date Liberty $5 NGC AU53](https://imgur.com/Db7sb1W) \- **~~$1,750~~** **$1,700** \[[REVERSE](https://imgur.com/dI2l4Ig)\] This is a truly scarce coin.
From David Ackers: "The 1846 is moderately rare in all grades and generally available only in VF to AU condition. Strictly uncirculated examples are rare, just as rare as those of 1844 and 1845. Both Small Date and Large Date varieties exist, the Small Date being the rarer of the two." **PCGS calls this coin an R8.5 on the rarity scale, and estimates 50 total survivors TOTAL IN ALL GRADES**, and **4 in MS60 or better.**
From Gordon Wrubel: "The Small Date has small numerals that are evenly spaced. The Small Date is easily distinguished by two snowman-like BALLS that extend up from the RIGHT STAND of the 4. Perhaps this defect accounts for the rarity of the Small Date. **It is about 9 times rarer than the Large Date according to the PCGS population report.** As of this writing, September 2013, only a couple of low Mint State examples have been graded."

# PREMIUM SOVEREIGN SILVER - NIUE CHIBIS
Chibi is a much-loved art style, and New Zealand Mint was the first in the world to introduce this collectible coin category. The head of a chibi character is usually between one-third and one-half the character's height. Additionally, chibi characters typically lack small details. As a result, when a character of average proportions is depicted as a chibi character, certain aspects of their design will be left out or simplified. In contrast, others will be embellished as a prominent feature. If a character has a signature characteristic, this will typically be prominent on the character's chibi version.
These Chibis are licensed by the New Zealand Mint (minted for Niue), and produced in limited numbers.
I bought a group of these for my personal collection, and I'm selling the duplicates.
Every single one of these comes in the original box, has the protective foam, and some are also protected inside a plastic baggie/sleeve. Will ship carefully packed in bubble wrap. These can only be shipped Priority mail - $10 shipping for 1-4 Chibis. If buying larger quantity, we can discuss shipping in chat - I'll work with you on getting you a good price for Priority shipping in a larger box.
Willing to hear reasonable offers if buying multiple items.

All timestamps and transaction details are provided in good faith. Buyers should conduct due diligence and verify that the item meets their expectations before purchasing.
After the USPS has possession of the item, my liability ends unless you choose to ship registered mail (expensive and slow, but secure). If you don’t want to use registered mail, you take all risks associated. I will help where I am able except assuming payment, that will be negotiated between parties and if an agreement cannot be reached, we will reach out to the mods for arbitration.
