No worry HPE has really been a pretty dead stock for MANY years. While it seems like it should have done better, somehow they seem to miss out on a lot.

My bank gives me a toaster or knife set for bringing them new customers, I wish they'd give me gold or silver tho 😂
Chime gives $100. Many MANY businesses offer referral bonuses. I never used mintbuilder cuz other reasons so I'm not shilling but it'd be dope to gain pms for bringing people

This is absurd. I’m sorry if this is a bit harsh, but there are just so many people in this sub intent on catching falling knives and trying to convince everyone they are smarter than the market.
I’ll start by saying that I do think there is upside here…perhaps 25% - 30%. But not a 52% margin of safety…
First….have you ever ran a business and used Quickbooks for a number of years? I have. It sucks. I don’t know the history of the NAME “Intuit” but I have to assume at some point it stood for “intuitive” which is laughable.
Their connectors and integrations are crap and were down so often. And where you see an “installed base moat” I see a company that has for over a decade rested in its laurels and stopped improving.
A lot of unhappy customers means they will happily jump ship if offered a chance.
Have you broken down the sources of revenue growth? Over the past several years, price increases across all tiers have driven like 70% of the revenue growth.
While customer acquisition has been sluggish and customer churn, especially at the lower end, has been high.
Mailchimp sucks, and from ANY perspective it has proven to be a very expensive and lackluster acquisition for them and a business that is clearly outside of their core competency.
Have you done ANY work on their competitors, especially QuickBooks competitors? Rippling, Wave, Ramp, etc?
No? Of course not. Because all you see is a big name that is down a lot and you think you see something the market doesn’t.
My brother works at Rippling. Let me tell you. They make it INCREDIBLY easy to migrate from Quickbooks. And they will even do it for you for free.
Wave also is highly rated with MANY people saying the migration was simple and easy.
Kinda puts your thesis on migration being incredibly painful to bed.
Lastly…the market isn’t sitting here telling you AI is going to kill their business. They are telling you that the competitors are coming on strong and have a better suite of products, better, more modern UI, and there really ARENT a lot of switching costs with most of their customers.
Only when you get into giant companies do the witching costs matter. And those companies are already using SAP.
For the record I have extensive experience with SAP in corporate and QuickBooks for both my and (when he was alive) my grandfather’s businesses.
I’m not saying that it can’t go up from here….
But a \~52% margin of safety is just patently absurd.
A \~52% margin of safety means you think it is trading at 48% of its fair value. That means the stock would need to MORE THAN DOUBLE just to reach your fair value.
Rippling itself is already valued at a $17 B valuation.
And by all accounts they are killing it.

I thought the same way for many MANY years. Then, I simplified and thought and simplified and thought. I moved to the daily charts, one indicator, one ticker, one order. The entire time, the problem was that I was so "smart" that I was stupid. When I dumbed down everything, it became so clear. Now I see so many different strategies that work that I can't even test them all thoroughly.
Dumb it down, go slower. Be patient.

This post DOES NOT APPLY if you have only been in BTC for 1-3 years. A LESSON for you newbs learning - BTC was at $10K during COVID and went up to $65K in that one year alone (crazy gain$), and by the summer of 2022, it leveled back down at $20K (crazy Lo$$) a BTC - so $60-65K was the sweet spot, and has been so for a while. But that level was a key moment. (Do your homework).
Now, $100K, the moon!🌙, yes, a lot of us made it. Wow!!….but then, it went back to $65K (felt like a crazy Lo$$ mentally) and guess what!…now it’s poppin back up to $100K.
Enjoy the ride. Don’t be a fart and sell your stash, stick to the plan (HODL), and DCA (what you can) and wait. The rest of you, just sell, take your screenshot of your sale, save it for 3-5 years from now for a “HAD I” segment and start again.
Whales 🐳…ummm 🫡 thanks for the lessons over the MANY life cycles. Man….Had I just….🤣

u/BadgersHoneyPot
It is a shame that you (u/BadgersHoneyPot) deleted all your comments. This is what always happens when you a financial advisor is unable to defend annuities against the points someone makes about how bad they mostly are.
I took screenshots of all our interaction for my own information, and to have record of the points I was sharing with the Reddit audience about the MANY pitfalls of annuities. A lot of helpful points were made.
Your last post started with, “You people, are insufferable , why can’t you just let people make up their minds for themselves (about annuities).”
Let me answer: As I said before, I am not saying people can’t make up their minds about annuities for themselves. What I don’t like is that most of those people are financially unknowledgeable (often elderly), and advisors selling annuities DO NOT tell those people the information they would need to know in order to make an “informed decision.” Also, because they are often elderly, they too often just go along with what the supposed fiduciary says, out of misplaced trust and ignorance.
I say “SUPPOSED FIDUCIARY” because even though you repeatedly say over and over again “I’m a fiduciary, and I must do what is in your best interest,” over and over again in an attempt to gain trust and clout, you know full well that you have a separate license for insurance and annuity sales FOR WHICH YOU ARE NOT A FIDUCIARY and you are allowed to act in your best interest instead of the clients best interest regarding annuity sales.
So I’m not upset you deleted your posts in this thread, because now you won’t be able to continue to just attacking my character rather than actually speaking to topic at hand.
