Miracle Gro is [spinning out Hawthorne Gardening](https://mjbizdaily.com/scotts-miracle-gro-to-spin-off-cannabis-arm-hawthorne-into-separate-business/) into a separate business. I have been waiting a [long time](https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/17n00s6/comment/k7ocal6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) for them to [do this](https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/18i66yr/comment/kdclqcu/).
From the second link, from about a year ago:

Obviously they've already done a RIV deal with Cansortium. I am curious if Hawthorne will end up a part of that company, or merge with a company like Hydrofarm.
