Yes... exactly. And buying computershares enables none of those things but uses up capital that we then can't use to do those things.

ComputerShare is profitable *because* they don't have to maintain expensive retail front ends or even high web traffic. It's a simple service they offer to companies that is super simple to do.
Turning it into a retail-focused entreprise would be super expensive and put us in direct competition with all the other, bigger established brokers.
So you want to acquire a company and undo everything that makes it profitable so that we can compete is a low-margin, super-competitive space they have no experience in? That's not a great pitch.
