I've been trading since 2018-19. I had a good run from 2020-2024 doing swing trading on weekly charts, not realizing it was the market not me. Then, like a clueless fool, I lost 70% of my capital in FnO in 2025. It was extremely painful to shut it down, and I can honestly say it was like being de-addicted to gambling.
But I found the same thing happening in day trading where I lost another 10% of my account. Now I'm lost. I'm not able to make any money any which way - not day trading or scalping or shorting or BRST, not even in swing trading (which I was good at, at one point).
It's not that I don't know about support/resistance, moving averages, momentum, technical indicators, price and volume, range bound trading etc. I'm well aware of these things. But right now my head is full of white noise. I can't make sense of anything. All my trades seem to go wrong. There is information overload and I don't seem to be able to see the forest for the trees.
What should I do? I need to trade because I don't have a job and need the income.
