Banca IFIS SpA is an independent banking company, which engages in the provision of credit services and solutions for enterprises and the purchase/management of non- performing loan portfolios. It operates through the following segments: Enterprises, NPL, Governance, and Services. The Entreprises segment represents the commercial offer of the Group dedicated to companies and consists of the business areas trade receivables, corporate banking, leasing, and tax receivables. The NPL segment dedicated to non-recourse acquisition and managing distressed retail loans. The Governance and Services segment offers financial resources and services necessary to the operating segments; and includes financing to individuals such as the disbursement of loans against assignment of one-fifth of salary or pension and some portfolios of personal loans. The company was founded by Sebastien Egon von Fürstenberg on August 5, 1983 and is headquartered in Venice, Italy.
