As someone new to purchasing precious metals online they came highly referred.
The first order was a bit messy since their third party fraud prevention process took 2 days and when it was finalized and greenlit, my order was randomly canceled 7 minutes before that email.
Then, we were informed they no longer use them and it's going to be internal now, which is perfectly fine, but if that was the case I don't know why we spent a Sunday through Tuesday doing their validation process.
So all in all, the prices are great especially if you want to use a credit card for cash back in miles and a gentleman I won't name picks up the phone within two rings every time which is lovely. Only downside is it's a 50/50 chance you get a nice, friendly town or a more stern, annoyed tone. Doesn't bother me but wanted to share that as no matter what number you select on the main line, that person will pick up.
So, with more confidence please stay 20K order last night. As always, I told the gentleman I would call to get the heads up given the value - and I know I'm new so 20K might not be a lot to y'all shipping wise but for me it is - and the phone lines are down until "Wednesday, June 6th."
Two comments:
1. Wednesday is June 4th
2. Friday is June 6th
So my only line of communication is email and I forward the order, and inquired about when the phone lines will be back up as I am more comfortable when I know I can talk to a human on the other line wow a $20,000 order is being processed.
So I am wondering from my fellow stackers that have and suggest Liberty Coin if this has been a similar experience for do you never interact with anyone and just place the order and let it Go from there?
I really wish they shipped on the weekends because my first shipment with missing those 3 days with the waste of time on the third party they no longer use, the package arrived the following Thursday when it was placed on Sunday night. It could have arrived Saturday but FedEx said they won't lift it even though it was free. And was signature delivery, I would assume weekends are the best since people are at home and not working.
Would love to hear more about the good / bad / ugly from your experiences and if you are continued advocate and customer what your typical order process and timing looks like (i e. o you just place it and wait or do you communicate along the way?)
I believe me being new to online and shipping packages of this value will eventually fade, but I think it's comical at this point I put the second and larger order in last night and now the phone lines are down, but it also says Wed, Jun 6th - so that means as mentioned above it's Wed June 4th or Fri June 6th.
