I’ve been tracking Allied Critical Metals (CSE: ACM) (OTCQB: ACMIF) (FSE: 0VJ0), which controls the Borralha and Vila Verde tungsten assets in northern Portugal. The company just put out a new Mineral Resource Estimate for Borralha that reflects results from its 2025 drill program.
The updated numbers come in at 13.0 Mt Measured + Indicated averaging 0.21 percent WO3, along with 7.7 Mt Inferred at 0.18 percent WO3. This represents a notable jump from last year’s resource and further outlines the scale of the tungsten system at the Santa Helena Breccia zone. With tungsten prices up about 70 percent in the last half-year, sitting near 700 USD/MTU, it’s an interesting backdrop for projects moving toward their next development stages. Early metallurgical work points toward gravity-focused processing, and there’s still work ahead to see whether copper, tin, or silver recovery could contribute in the upcoming PEA. The mineralized footprint remains open to the west and north, and more core drilling is slated for early 2026. Environmental permitting and ongoing technical evaluations are running alongside the resource work, and a full NI 43-101 report is expected within the standard 45-day timeframe.
Curious what everyone’s sentiment is on tungsten right now. Let me know your thoughts.
