The investment seeks to provide investors with long-term total return. The fund pursues its investment objective by establishing long and short positions in a portfolio of U.S. exchange-listed equity securities and/or U.S. exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") that provide exposure to such securities (collectively, "Equity Securities"). Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (including investment borrowings) will be exposed to Equity Securities. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in U.S. exchange-listed equity index futures contracts.
