Regarding sector ETFs, be careful. You should only make those bets with REALLY strong conviction in a macro or secular theme. E.g., "AI will cut costs and accelerate drug disco, therefore, VHT (Healthcare)" or "AI will cause an explosion in demand for energy, therefore VPU or VDE".
But those ETFs contain a LOT of losers alongside 3-5 winners. Often, you're better just identifying those 3-5 winners and leaning in on them.
