The oil stocks are more responsive to oil prices than pipelines. Just look at the stocks around the construction and start up times of the TMX build. The pipeline companies are dividend stocks.
5 years away from a new pipeline in service and that's generous. If you are looking to make money its best to just invest when oil crashes. Pipeline companies are pretty stable so you just buy and hold. ENB is a great dividend stock
