You came to the right time to buy bonds or bond etfs. I would prefer bond etf like SPTL lowest ER 0.03% and likely 4.12% TTM (past yield). Tomorrow, very likely SPTL will be very low (last 2-3 hours) as 20y auction is going on. Buy whatever you are planning for bonds (SPTL is really good choice) and hold long.
When rate reduction cycle starts, SPTL will likely go up and still provide you monthly dividends. Other etfs are VGLT and TLT, but my preference is SPTL.
