I wouldn’t anchor too much to SOXL’s 52 week low though, it resets 3x daily, so old price levels aren’t really apples to apples. If semis stop getting derated, SOXL can rip way before the AI/data center debate is settled

My guess is SOXL has more room to drop. The 52-week low is $28, and it’s currently $46. Now that AI is popping and newly elected Democrats want to put the brakes on data centers, I expect it to fall.

The average WSB bull correllates to SOXL on crack. Which has lost all its YTD gains in the last few weeks.

I did buy SOXL at 100, but when it got cut in half, I was forced to sell at a loss—nobody knows where the actual bottom lies.

As someone who cut thier leveraged ETF teeth on the TVIX (acainant 3x Bull Vix Index), I just want to express hope that you are as early in your investing carrer now as I was then. The opportunity cost of holding ETFs such as SOXL is often higher then putting that $ to work elsewhere. I will say, getting TVIXed on multi-day holds, multiple times, forced me to become a more decerning investor. In the short term, be sure to aviod high buildings with windows when reviewing your portfolio.

Beautiful, thank you for this. I've honestly noticed the same with regard to downside trend reliability. I've done okay trading SOXL/SOXS so it'll be interesting to attempt to trade these single-stock leveraged ETFs. Thanks again!

Thanks for responding! Commodities don't make sense to me, so I won't be touching anything related to those. Direxion isn't afraid to reverse-split when the NAV drops too low, and given that they have kept SOXS running as designed since 2010 despite its continued and persistent NAV deterioration, I'm actually not concerned about SOXL going away. What u need to track in this ridiculous AI market is SOXL. When u see SOXL goes down, run and it has been down over 60% for 2 weeks now. It's a nightmare.

This is still way better than losing money. If some guy randomly came up to you one day and gave you 50k, no strings attached, most people would be over the moon. Tormenting yourself with what might have been isn't going to make it any better. If you held SOXL for r6 months you'd be down almost 70% Imagine being down to 45k instead of being up 50k. You're still playing with fire.

VOO+QQQM is not a dividend tilt in #4. VTI+QQQM is a strange mix for #2 trying to diversify outside the US. Why not go leveraged with SOXL for #1 ?

I had a boring boomer portfolio for like 2 years, mostly SPY and SGOV. Very stable, very boring. Last week I went balls deep into SOXL and TQQQ, I feel young again.

You’d only miss out on insane profits if you actually manage to sell near the top. Most of these regards with 50% SOXL 50% $300 CRWV calls portfolios not only didn’t do that, but they also kept (or worse yet _started_) buying at the top lol.

I don't 0ETD like a regard, I DCA on SOXL and other 2x-3x leveraged ETFs for long term investments 😎😉
