I suppose you have specific examples of the things that you would have done entirely differently?
Honestly I feel we have done and are doing a decent to great job. We've spent years balancing subreddit deletion by Reddit with community moderation. Keeping discussion on topic about gme but with enough freedom to speculate and meme. This wizard stuff is a great example with us giving the community the freedom to discuss until evidence has arose that demonstrates the content shouldn't continue to be hosted here.
You're welcome to find another community that's doing a better job and I genuinely mean that; no sass or jab intended. In fact I'd be interested to know about and analyse a GME community that is supposedly doing things better so we could adopt some of their practices.
If you want to actively participate in moderation of this subreddit and help make changes then you can look into joining the SCC (see the open forum pinned to the top of the sub). If you just want to complain then I guess you've been heard and have a nice day.
