RT imagine deciding between LESL and that gnl or wtv it was called and it didn’t matter cause by the time I woke up they both ate a nuke 😭

Tradingview lags so bad. Just now noticing when compared to another data source. It's RT data is like a minute behind.

u/Chuu I benched this when it first released, the improvement over Onload was in the order of 100-200 ns half RT for MD and 300-400 ns for MD and ordering, so just a bit worse than SFN's own benchmarks at the time (see Davor Frank's June 2017 presentation, "TCPDirect, sfptpd and ANTS").
The comparison is implementation-specific and isn't completely trivial since TCPDirect's API differs from BSD sockets in some ways: epoll for TCPDirect supports edge triggering but not level triggering; TCPDirect stacks aren't thread-safe; and send path warming has meaningful effect on the ordering side.
